  1. Does anyone know what sideline the Bulls will be on and what sections contain our allotment?
  2. USF quarterback Byrum Brown says he’ll remain a Bull in 2024 WWW.TAMPABAY.COM Speculation on Brown’s future swirled before and after the NCAA transfer portal opened Monday.
  3. Just back to West Palm from the game. Awesome time and finally a neutral court victory that was well in hand mid-way through the second half. USF fans spread thin throughout the arena and not super loud though we were holding our own in the corner from @bull2bull photos above. Had a lot of fun. The tomahawk chop thing never got started, thank goodness and we were out the door before the chomping began. Let's ride this high for the next few games. GO BULLS!

  6. When is the next game? Looks like we will play UTEP?
  7. Has anyone heard anything about an official USF tailgate prior to the game? It would be great to have a tent near the stadium that the band could march by and play. GO BULLS!
  8. Thanks frog. Hope you guys can make it work so we have a decent student showing.
  9. Please, please put plastic contoured tops on any bleachers a la Tulane.
  10. I like Our House! We should put that on the outside of the stadium with 2 iconic U's. I can see it now - The Publix Our House Stadium. (substitute Yeungling, Outback, etc.) Hey, where is that concert next weekend? It's at Our House at USF!
  11. Just one word of caution. I've taken Amtrak from Tampa to West Palm 3 times. Every time the train has been 2-4 hours late. It's actually late every day. This is do to the fact that Amtrak has to yield to all commercial traffic on the tracks so when there's an unexpected freight train or a freight breaks down, Amtrak sits tight. If you don't care that you might be arriving hours late, then go for it. It's not a bad experience and the bar car is great!
  12. How is Rice vs. Texas State a better game than ours? These guys just looked at each team's season records.
  13. Georgia at Vandy was sold out. Their capacity was 28,500 this year due to the major renovation happening.
  14. Is USF doing anything to get that student energy to Boca. Free tickets, free transportation, whatever? It would be money well spent IMHO.
  15. If you're saying that the divider between the upper and lower sections below is actually open concourse to be able to stand and see the field, then I'm pretty happy with this initial rendering. Allows me to mill around in the shade, have a drink and still watch the game. I still hate the delay and the metal supports, maybe they'll be covered by concrete looking columns to fool the eye. I'm getting more on board with this.
  16. Honestly if you can get to Orlando or West Palm, just take the Brightline to Boca. It's an awesome train and the station is right in town where lots is happening and about 1 1/2 miles from FAU.
  17. It was kind of a big deal made that there were penalties in the contract (now defunct) for every game not held there starting with the 2026 season. I think we all thought a one year delay would cost the contractor like $12 million so yeah it's a decent chunk of change. Maybe that's why they bailed. "Supply chain issues" sounds very dubious as to the real reason for the delay. It sounds like something someone threw out to the group when they were considering how they were going to handle communicating the delay. Everyone else is saying that so why don't we?
  18. I've been to 4 gamedays (at ND and THE OSU twice) including Army-USF which actually did not happen due to a massive lightning strike and storm that hit about 10 minutes before airtime. We all ran for cover and a heavily armed female cadet walked us to some building that was open. I ended up going up the hill to the stadium in a bus with USF folks, jumped in from the rain and sat down right next to CRM. He was super friendly and so optimistic! That was also when Corso was given Rocky's head in the trailer because he was going to put it on for his pick. Well, Rocky's head got lost in all the storm confusion and didn't show up until half time. Cheerleaders were there and everyone was wondering where Rocky was. In answer to your question, not sure ESPN cares about new stadiums for gameday vs that day's matchup. GO BULLS!
  19. There's stop and go traffic between Miami and West Palm Beach 24/7. Good luck!
  20. Just got caught up on the last 10 pages or so. I have to say my new favorite word is heptagon.
  21. 3 of the 4 original concept renderings included shade and labeled something like "good, better, best". There was a lot of discussion about how they were obviously considering the shade component.
  22. Why do all the work from scratch when you can present what you've already prepared and still charge the full amount?
  23. Debbie downer here. It looks okay, but I guess I expected a bit more for $300m+. The seating areas look fine. Perceived drawbacks from 1 rendering... Metal supports do look really cheap (and almost unstable but I'm sure only the best structural engineers were involved). No concourses to mill about and still be able to see the field - unless that rooftop area in the east endzone works for that but they don't show any fake people on it. Thinking the concession areas are going to look a lot like UCF (wide open with lots of metal poles around). Would prefer a closed in Tulane type look for that. And assuming a home side season ticket is going to be double what they cost now, expecting a shaded seat for even nooners is not unreasonable. Also agree with others that it must be able to hold the largest possible pitch for soccer as a rental revenue generator. Let's be honest, if this single rendering was released by UCF or any of our current conference mates, we would all be saying "looks cheap like the new soccer stadiums going up, we're going to build something way better". All that being said, let's do this and GO BULLS!
  24. It does matter as we can only hope we end up in a conference that triples our current TV/post season revenue at a minimum. Without that extra $15-$20 million per year, it might be a rough road ahead.
