The Big East needs to be building up its programs more and playing bigger teams - what is there to argue with? You can't tell me WV playing Eastern Washington and ECU means a National Championship shot. If nothing else, getting some focus on the Big East should improve recruiting.

Under the radar is where we need to be. One big injury and we are going to be crawling along for the season.

We need money, we need media hype, we need a connected Alumni.  We have work to do.  Everyone elses struggles may lead to some improvements with recruits.  We are looking at programs with upto 90 years of playing football.  We need to focus on growing everything.  Athletic Association funding was up 385 % over the last five years, we need to keep that level of increase going. We are the little 4th program in Florida.  I am not trying to dimish everything we have done in 10 years, we need more bowl games, more exposure and a more connected alumni and fan base.  We are moving up.... When we get more than a paragraph on page 15 of the Sports section in the Orlando Sentinel on a Sunday, I will know we are making progress statewide.

Any bowl will be acceptable for this year. I don't want to rain on anybodys parade but none of the remaining games are marked W in my book, I am keeping things real, Grothe goes out or someone else takes a toke - - we are in serious trouble.
