  1. I have received a couple of e-mails and a phone call today about tickets directly from UCF... They pulled the info off the Orlando Chapter page and called me, www.usfalumni.net/orlando/ As explained today, the group ticket sales would be outside of the allotment USF will receive, hopefully someone else from Athletics can jump in and further clarify... the group seats can be purchased for as little as 12 a seat, however, will not be the allotment.... below is the e-mail I received... Kevin and Kevin, I would like to introduce myself, my name is Chris Bain and I'm the UCF Group Sales Coordinator and I wanted to give you some early information regarding our group tickets for our 2006 UCF Football Season. Our game scheduled against USF on Saturday September 16, 2006 should be an amazing day of football. I know the fans here are excited for the match up and it's not even April. Anyway, by reserving tickets through myself and the UCF Athletic Association I can guarantee you the best seats for your chapter as well as family and friends. This season tickets of 20 or more are $20 for Sideline Seats and $12 for Corner or Endzone Seats. Please let me know if there is anything I can do to help you reserve your seats for the big game. I look forward to working with you. 2. I was down in Englewood and saw a local hotel with a sign that said "Welcome USF Coach Jim Leavitt" I was down in a beach cottage unfortunately with TS Alberto, I wondered what the sign was about, now I know ! ! !
  3. The Lakeland event needs golfers, if I have anything to say about the event, it should be a good one.
  4. There are many schools of thought on the area of coordinating Alumni together... I am working on the Lakeland event and I know our numbers are low right now for golfers. If you are in the Orlando area, please get registered for the Around the Horns event. I look forward to seeing folks from the message board there.
  5. I wish.... sure would make my life more exciting.
  6. Bucs sign Andre Hall USF running back Andre Hall wasn't drafted Sunday, but he's landed right here in Tampa, agreeing to sign a free-agent contract with the Bucs after Sunday's draft. Here's what Bucs coach Jon Gruden had to say about Hall in his post-draft press conference: "He's a heck of a back. There's so many good players out there that don't get drafted. We're going to try to get him." "He probably hasn't played as long as some of the other backs. He didn't play very long in high school, was a junior college player. Maybe there's some people who can question whether to do it again. The film we looked at, we certainly recognized him as a top-flight back, a guy who can run and catch." posted by Greg Auman @ 4/30/2006 06:25:00 PM ----------------------------------------------------------------------- USF's Hall Signs With Bucs By BRETT McMURPHY bmcmurphy@tampatrib.com Published: May 1, 2006 TAMPA - University of South Florida running back Andre Hall signed a free agent contract with the Tampa Bay Bucs today. Projected in most mock drafts as a fourth- or fifth-round selection, Hall was not among the 255 players selected in the seven rounds of the draft. Hall led the Big East in rushing last season and in only two seasons at USF was the Bulls' all-time leading rusher. Find this article at: http://www.tbo.com/sports/bulls/MGB0Q07ZNME.html
  7. The Orlando folks will be going over to Lakeland, just like last year, only hopefully more of us.
  8. Inside I found the following, maybe someone can clarify... there is a sticker that says 2001 Large Fits 7 1/8- 7 3/4. There is a number beneath this written in marker, 63565. This information is on the left side of the inside of the helmet. On the right side there is Warning sticker partial obscured by helmet padding, in pen is written #8. There is another sticker inside partial tore that says This (looks like it says helmet) RECERT (then tore again) according to procedures established to meet the NOCSAE STANDARD then it says ALL AMERICAN NAERA MEMBER on the side it says 1997. The padding inside the helmet is labelled MAXPRO 2001 a warning label is inside on the pads. On the back of helmet, an NCAA sticker and another WARNING label. BTW, the green on the face gaurd is a little darker than the Ebay pic.
  9. In the quest to collect Bulls history, what do you consider your most prized item? Helmet, Football, other? What say you?
  10. Andre Hall had mine last year. . . mine and the soon to be Mrs.
  11. Grab some coffee at La Teresita, get back on I-4 and discuss the situation on the long drive back to Orlando.
  12. I would say 3500, not a whole lot of press about it so far. Additionally, I agree with the statement about having an autograph session. That would be sweet ! ! !
  13. http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=8378617751&fromMakeTrack=true I am not really concerned about the price, I am wondering if someone has seen this someplace else? Thanks, Kdawgy

  15. Anybody know anything about this item or the claims on Ebay? http://cgi.ebay.com/University-of-South-Florida-Bulls-Football-Jersey_W0QQitemZ8781459739QQcategoryZ83162QQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem - - - - -
  16. I e-mailed the folks at BullsHeaven as I was told they have a license to get this kind of stuff made. I also sent them a link to this post, so who wants some neon. If we get close on the tent or canopy count, please let me know, would love one for here in Orlando.
  17. Figured  I start a new topic versus starting another negative post. I had been looking around for the logo in neon... like some other schools have. Isn't it about time for the Bulls logo in Neon ? ? ?
  18. Rant and rave all you want, Football in April is worth the drive from Orlando. Especially so we can expand the lil ole Orlando group from 12 seats to 16 seats.
  19. I would love to see a shirt or poster that show the evolution of the logos. The iconic U is a hot seller, it has grown on me.
  20. A good class, a winning season, a nighttime Spring Game and better USF merchandise.
  21. What jacket are you guys talking about? Anyone have a picture? Are these the ones from usfshop.com or elsewhere? Thanks!
  22. Antenna topper bull helmet ball thing, White U logo sticker, yard (garden) flag, USF eyeglass retainer (didn't even know those were out there) and other items. Bowl tixs were already purchased prior to Christmas, the tixs did arrive though.
  23. Sorry for the delay. CaddyShack in Orlando is closed permanently. We have several folks going to the game so no watch party planned. Depending on where you are going to be, ESPNzone at Boardwalk at Disney. Front Row Sports on I-Drive, otherwise there are some Beefs up here that are usually good. Other than these, no real recommendations.
