  1. I was alluding more to the fact that eventually I will die. Only CJL can live forever because he will always have a place in our hearts.
  2. Next year... just like Usf football. I’m sure a time will come in life where I will take forever off.
  3. That’s super funny I was just about to ask you to name a KPI you would say CJS is doing markedly better than CCS in. College football only has two KPIs in my opinion winning and recruiting, if you are losing at all of those things I am sure you can get more granular but ultimately if you aren’t tracking on those things no one gives a ****.
  4. That is not how this development is working but that is most certainly how all development works. You create an improvement you measure that improvement you make improvements to the improvement and then you keep going. We have yet to get our first measurable improvement and that means we aren’t developing, this is called digression.
  5. I think what the students, parents and universities have learned is that while we may need some of these people in the world they are not wisely using anyone’s resources by being at a typical university for four years. At the end of years the only thing anyone learns in the exchange is that this will not help them at all with their career path which will not allow them to pay the debt they accumulated and certainly never contribute to the university at all. They would be just as well served to try to become and artist by going to air conditioning trade school. Not everyone in the world should go to a 4 year university and that we some how perpetuated the lie that it is needed for everyone is why so many people now needing bailed out from their loans.
  6. It should have a fairly straight trend line otherwise it’s not progress it’s hope that one day things will progress, our line fell off a cliff and is now flat across the bottom of the graph. This is the opposite of progress, this is failure at the lowest level.
  7. Semantics. There are plenty of people that say doing something that would be labeled horrible would be great for CJS but they did not say being horrible in and of itself would be great.
  8. Most people would objectively say 1 win 3-4 wins and 6 wins would be horrible and grounds for termination then there is a disconnect when they describe what they think would be a good job for CJS. CJS has taken a path of failure based every bit as much on his decisions as with the players he was left with by CCS. Every day it becomes more clear that there was in fact enough talent to compete in the AAC and once again the coaches are the missing component of that success. He has to do better and there is nothing wrong with having minimum expectations for someone in a position of power.
  9. These are facts but while we have seen plenty of the mistakes it would be nice to at least see a few things that point to learning from them
  10. They may not have said horrible but they said 1 win, 3-4 wins and it all paying off at 6 wins in year 3. That by definition is horrible and should be grounds for termination, not an extension. He didn’t take on a winless team he took on an underachieving 4 win team and if the best he can do is take 3 years to get to where we should of been last season then he sucks and that has nothing to do with CCS and everything to do with him. I think he is pretty green and there is still hope for a turnaround but it needs to start sooner than later if anyone expects anybody to be there to see it.
  11. I agree that there is no way to fire him but I completely disagree that he should be given the expectation of being completely horrible for three years. We should expect more from him and he needs to know that he is completely failing and this is not okay.
  12. Surely this must have been proven either civilly or criminally in order for you to be so certain of this allegation, oh it was in a kangaroo court and public opinion? Excuse me for not accepting that as codified.
  13. CJS got sick of winning at Clemson so he makes every effort to avoid it here
  14. You mean CJS’ first class? CCS’ classes looked a lot more like CJS’ current class than they look like improvement
  15. Taggart wasn’t required to lose for 2.5 years in order to get to winning any more than Jeff Scott is currently and had Taggart continued his patient path he would have been gone by year 3. CJS has more talent on this roster than CWT had and CJS does not seem to be positioning himself to be the recruiting juggernaut that CWT was. No one needs to be patient CJS needs to do better and there is no better time to start that than immediately.
  16. That’s sounds horrible, I’ll just stick to reading for fun and waxing poetically on the internet
  17. I think you have the job that I actually wanted by my senior year but I wanted to be in philosophy and all of my professors explained to me how it was basically impossible to get a tenured position as it brings in zero dollars and every department was shrinking
  18. I had an epiphany during he LSAT that I had no desire to be a lawyer at that time and I wanted to take some time off. I still thought I would maybe go back or get into politics but then I thought I had personality flaws that would prevent me from political aspirations, turns out I wrong about all of my issues being non starters.
  19. Political science because I thought I wanted to be a lawyer, I don’t really know what a political scientist does but I don’t think it’s what I do.
  20. Neb summarized it pretty well the only new content was a Thomas Keller reference and I don’t think I’ve used that before.
  21. Funny some times I get lost in my tangents and when you are ranting there is little time for proof reading. I will gladly take you on as an editor if you would like an internship.
  22. 2, 2 is the difference and it means that when you win 3 next year you don’t get to pretend you have accomplished something. You took over an under achieving 4 win team and if you don’t drive that into the ground at minimum in year two the expectation is .500 by going 0 for FBS somehow the expectation of .500 is set to year three which quite frankly is worse than any coach we have ever had and is grounds for separation.
  23. That’s my only problem with this season, we should be doing better and we are under achieving. In order to move towards progress you have to actually improve instead of digress. This season has been a step backwards and that’s not okay and needs to end sooner than later. Do better CJS.
