  1. the bigshoop was right!..... maybe we should fix our uniform colors!!!! GO BULLS!!!
  2. what is up with all the backwards bulls signs.  I always thought is was palms out, was this "backwards" way started to differentiate from the texas hook 'em horns.  I've seen the beef studs doing it like this in a lot of pictures. Hey, Shoop's pet peeve is the uniforms not up to the latest fashion standards, mine is backwards bulls symbols.
  3. I call BS.  I don't think he ever talked about USF. Stop and back away from the 620 (unless there is a live game like the Lightning on). To be fair, last year duemig did talk some USF, I think he even had Leavitt on once or twice.  And lets not forget about the whole "chicken wussies (edited for content)" comment after the penn state game that threw this board into an uproar.
  4. for our Bulls! http://sportsillustrated.cnn.com/2006/sioncampus/10/03/rutgers.sterger/index.html
  5. i dont even look at some of et's grothe posts.i wouldnt let him chase me away if he posted doubles.so what. there you have it, the answer!  smazza has figured it out, now others need to apply that strategy toward him.  don't look at smazza's posts if you don't want to.  if the post is started by smazza you know what it is going to be about, whether it is here or in the mad cow.  I now will present a summary of all appx. 40,000 of smazza's posts: leavitt's an idiot, leavitt can't recruit, I love usc, republicans will destroy the world, republicans are responsible for everything wrong in the world, whatever team usf is playing doesn't care about the game so usf should win (if they win big deal the other team didn't care, if they lose they lost to a team that didn't care about the game), grothe is awesome,  leavitt gets outcoached in every game, oogle over jen sterger, usf should have won a national championship by now like my boys from usc, woolard can't do anything right, blah blah It's like nails on a chalkboard....., for your eyes!
  6. I was listening from the beginning.  He talked up the gators, then talked down the noles and canes.  then said he wouldn't take a phone call from glen...., I'm not talking about usf football.  If they think they are to good to talk to the media then the media doesn't need to talk about them.  if leavitt wants to play against teams like ball state and buffalo and go to a bowl...blah blah rant rant... and we won't talk about them as long as they're ignoring the media unless they win a national championship, which they won't. Something like that.
  7. I thought it was pretty cool, but while were picking on this guy, Florida has more than a bit of a cattle industry.  Florida is the second largest cattle state in the U.S.
  8. getting to 5-0 should get us votes. I doubt we'll get top 25.
  9. does anyone know if the game will be replayed locally on catch 47 or some other channel.
  10. here is a map for td waterhouse parking, in case anyone is interested.
  11. Keeping with tradtion, I present.....rankings that mean nothing! Foxsports - #42 cbs - #53 and after the golden panthers devestating loss to us they fall a mind boggling 98 spots all the way down to #112 in foxsports poll!
  12. I didn't check at the last game, but I remember a couple years ago we were watching the little scoreboards to keep track of some other team for some reason (I forget the team and the reason). So I know they showed them then.
  13. sounds like a possible chance to rush the field! test out those new collapsable goal posts!
  14. Grothe is number 1 on the depth chart according to the tribune. does that make it official. Grothe Moves Atop USF Depth Chart Skip directly to the full story. By BRETT McMURPHY The Tampa Tribune Published: Sep 4, 2006 Less than 48 hours after Matt Grothe’s University of South Florida debut Saturday, the freshman moved past senior Pat Julmiste atop the Bulls’ depth chart today. http://www.tbo.com/sports/bulls/MGBJLQ77PRE.html
  15. Zook got thrown under the bus because he wasn't spurrier. And I'd like to think Urban Myer copied the Bulls offense with MB, after we destroyed his #25 ranked bowling green team, when he was the offensive coordinator.  But that could just be me looking through my green and gold glasses.
  16. pretty funny at the end of the interview after he left, ian: you see what happens when you go out and drink to much? ron: don't remember inviting him to come here, huh? ian: yeah, well, I gotta watch myself something like that. I turned it on toward the end and couldn't figure out who was talking usf (I thought it was an intern or something)
  17. I hear there's a big rift in the locker room because some players like peperoni pizza and others like plain cheese! we're doomed!
  18. I've joined the proud club of Bulls football season ticket holders, and we're looking to do a little tailgating.  Only problem is, we don't know when can we "officially" start.  So, anybody know when the lots open before games.
  19. I think it's time to change the name of this board to "flsportsfan83 vs. everything in Tampa".
  20. giving away cowbells the the first 15,000 fans wearing rays gear!
  21. engineers are the best fans, it's a proven fact
  22. The great curt schilling has solved all the world's problems once again!  The reason for the bad blood and bean balls between the red sox and rays is Scott Kazmir!  It is not, in fact, Lou Pinnela's fault.  What?  It changed from one year to the next?  Oh yes, it seems Kazmir can't throw inside without hitting batters because he was brought up too early.  So, the red sox have to retaliate.  That is the whole reason for all the bad blood. Wow.  This isn't some ridiculous attempt to throw a pitcher off his game who has dominated you're team since he was called up, is it curt?
  23. must be just the usf dorms. I got no problem getting the game.
