    are you kidding me! they moved the student section back! how am I supposed to enjoy the basketball game if I can't sit behind announcer guy and try to mess him up. I'm not a student any more, so I probalby wouldn't be there anyway, but still!

    Tampa is a town of transplants, bandwagon fans, and walk ups. Our teams haven't been around long enough (except for the bucs) for the Tampa Bay population to grow an alligence. Fans will come out for the big games, if the media hypes it enough, and will come out when the team consistenly wins year after year (and beats their old team consistently). Look at the Lightning, they couldn't even sell out their opening playoff round games. It's as simple as that.

    from what I remember, I'm pretty sure that they did paint the field for the Bulls for one big game about 2 years ago (maybe Blackwell's final year?).  I think it was either bowling green, louisville, or tcu. they did it then, they can do it again.

    The BIG EAST Conference announced on Sunday that UConn's Nov. 26 football game against South Florida has been selected for an ABC Regional telecast and will kickoff at 3:30 p.m. from Rentschler Field. It will be UConn's first ever game on a broadcast network. UConn will share the time slot with Oklahoma at Oklahoma State and Virginia at Miami.     I'd just like to point out Georgia Tech's NCAA imposed 2 year probation for using academically ineligible players. Also I will point out the coach of GT at the time, George O'Leary. Tech's records from 98-99 to 04-05 will be vacated.

    I'll have to admit PJ actually had a decent game. he had some key throws on third down (after rod "predictable" smith ran the ball up the middle on first and second down to gain a whopping 4 yards). no turnovers.

    The Rays new manager will be Joe Maddon, formerly of the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim, California, USA, North America, formerly Pangea, Milky Way Galaxy, Space. I was expecting McLeran to be named the manager, since the some of the players had endorsed him.

    That freaking loss to pittsburgh is killing us.  Imagine what the headlines would be like if we were 6-2 with wins against quality opponents like louisville, rutgers, and *cough, cough* ucf, and respectalbe showings against miami and penn state.  We'd be the freaking darlings of the national media instead of the skunks. On UCF recieving more votes, that is just asinine.  I guess it's because we haven't played as much games and the voters just look at the wins.  cbs has them ranked 4 spots ahead of us, but UCF's strength of schedule is 74! and USF's SOS is freaking 6!  6!  That's only 5 away from 1!

    I didn't see the original unedited title. This is my take on Julmiste: He's not an accurate passer by any means. he gets rattled easily, and if he gets rattled early he never recovers. he makes bad decisions (used to make a lot more) he turns over the ball more than he should (see bad decisions) Although, I got to admit, Julmiste has gotten a lot better since last year, and he has improved as the season has gone on and he is our best chance to win.

    What did he say that was trash talk. Julmiste doesn't have any passing game and the ref said after his review that the whistle stopped the play.

    Go Rays! They have stepped it up. Rocco signed a deal, official tomorrow, that keeps him here for 6 years. It's a risk to sign him, considering he hasn't played in a year and only has two years experience though. But you know what, I don't care! They are signing young, talented players instead of trading them for more prospects. Go Rays! Trade Huff!

    from the ncaa official site: suck:  (verb)  to give a horrible showing, to miss wide open recievers, to make bad decisions. Ex:  Pat Julmiste sucks at qb, especially on the road.    In general, the USF offense sucks on the road.    UF sucks. I looked it up!  its there, check for yourselves.
