    From a news story: Many locals remember the 12- to 15-foot wave that hit Daytona Beach on July 3, 1992, near the Boardwalk tossing cars around and injuring more than 20 people. At the time, officials marveled that the wave hit at night when the beach was mostly deserted rather than when it was lined with sunbathers. Cars were allowed to park there at night then. ********************** With that said the odds of what happened there are 1000 to 1 it happens here. Our plates are moving apart and not togeather but it can happen.

    Wild, Yes, as Phd students we get tuition waivers but we still are forced to pay health and athletic fees. If you dont pay those (they are mandatory) then I could see them making you pay for events but that would also mean you have to pay for student health services. As long as you pay the athletic fee you should be allowed in.

    He redshirted to get accustom to the pace and the routine. He could be seen on the sidelines in his floppy fishing hat at every game.

    I think you have a point. Two years with Marquel does say a lot. It says alot about the offensive staff's ability to recruit and develop. Sorry but I was/am/and have been here for the entire time. I am a huge Bulls fan but I dont see anything wrong with #4 on your list. We had one of the worst offenses in the country. Sure a good QB would have been an option but the terrible play calling ALL year long was pathetic. Say what you want about me. I am a die hard Bulls fan.

    I dont think its a "hate". He has stories to write. Absent information from the coach himself, Bret still has to write articles.

    Its pretty easy. When you rank a class you are ranking the coaches ability to recruit players to his school. Transfers are not representative of a coaches ability to recruit as transfers have less of a market for their services.

    We wont be adding any mens sports for a bit. We were behind on Title IX a year ago or so. I would imagine that is gonna be difficult to keep up with. Adding 85 scholarships for football tends to put a strain on the equality. That means we need 85 women's scholarship athletes just to match football. Men's Ice Hockey and Lacrosse will never make the jump until we are WAY ahead on the Title IX issue. But look for more women's sports such as diving/swimming (women's only) and possible something like Crew. By the way, when UCF added football they did so at the expense of a wrestling program, something else we could probably field a very successfull team. My old high school coach was their wrestling coach and got the boot as they added football.

    Keep your dime. Its poison anyway. They can have mine and the rest of the Bull faithful. Is calling for a head coaches head the way to instill confidence in the recruits who are considering us? It really doesnt help the team.

    I would imagine if we did it would only be a womens team. Title IX implications would be tough to add another mens sport at this time. I still dont understand why we dont have a women's dive team or swimming. It couldnt be that hard to get some of those Michigan girls to come to Florida to swim. That would definately help the Title IX issues.

    I beleive the Trib said he was questionable becuase of an injury... That would be the only explanation that is acceptable for not starting him.

    Yes best of luck for his mom in her battle with cancer. I hope he has a great 4 years here at USF but most of all I hope his mom is in full remission long before he graduates.

    I sure hope you guys are running this by the compliance folks. Those players cannot be used in ads so I dont know if they can be used in this type of business deal...... Please play it safe...

    I didnt hear people boo them, but I dont have problems with people complaining post game. I think we all need to support the band in some way shape or form. I will try to once I graduate (again)....

    Well at least is wasnt "Flight of the Bumble Bee". Can the board pitch in and donate "Drumline" to the band? They can at least use it as a recruiting tool.

    Exactly. If they are looking for the reverse they were looking for the ball to come to the side of the field WE RAN to. Hell, if they are looking for the reverse, audible to the sweep! But you have to ask yourself this, if we were gonna run a reverse, how the heck did Cinci know? Um, maybe our coach thinks like my cat. Our players are the only ones who can see his signal.

    I dont remember his first run being for a touchdown vs. Cinci, other than that, its a pretty good article.

    Well I wasnt one of those bragging about our OC last week or the week before. They took too long to realize we should run the ball and then they abandon that this game. So what Cincy was "starting" to stop the run. Hall had 7 carries for 23 yards in the last three quarters. That's 3.3 yards a carry. Give me that 3.3 yards a carry with the threat of the big run anyday. Sure we needed to pass here or there but not to the extent you give up the running game.
