Sounds like a good candidate. Not that I think CJL will get rid of Smith, but maybe we should start keeping a list of potential candidates. There were several Tennesse coaches let go as well, including one WR coach that had been there for years and put quote a few recievers in the NFL. I cannot remember his name. There will be plenty of candidates out there, but as much as I like CJL as a coach loyalty seems to be his undoing. I have the feeling he will stay with Smith come hell or high water.

The way things seem to be going, this saturday could be our next cold weather football game. Well at least much colder than WE are used to.

Great news...I hope this shows that the University is whole heartedly committed to the football program and dont get cheap when it comes to coordinator and assistant positions. And I hope CJL realizes that a change needs to be made. All in all it is a good day in Bull Nation.

Right now Jenna is about 4 feet away from me...well I guess technically its my VCR that is 4 feet from me.

Hopefully even if the game is a sellout there will be plenty of room on the sidelines for a number of recruits. That would be an incredible enviroment for them to be in. Especially if we pull out the upset.

A huge factor will be us winning at UCONN, which will be tough. If we win that game Ray Jay will be rocking even more so than the U of L game. And that will give us a big advantage as long as we are in the game. The crowd will make it tough on WVA. It will also keep our momentum going and get the guys believing they can win this game. I personally cannot wait for this game, two heavy run teams means chewing up a lot of the clock, which can translate to a close game. This could come down to whomever has the ball last. This Bulls team has impressed me so much this season, and has already far exceeded my expectations for this season. Win or Lose the WVA game, the season we have had has already attracted some highly touted recruits and we could potentially land a recruiting class that could put us 2 or 3 years ahead of where most of us expected to be.

Even if it were true, and we beat WVA...Tranghese would be a fool not to pick us to go to the Sugar Bowl. That would be the story of the year, and the media would gobble it up. If that is the way it plays out, the Big East would get so much free publicity from our throwing a wrench into the BCS. USF will be talked about EVERYWHERE. The Rose bowl is obvious USC vs Texas, that has been apparent since about week 6. But USF to the Sugar Bowl, that is a huge story.

How the hell do they have 87 yard per punt average lol Anyway we match up pretty well statistically considering we have played a tougher schedule. I really like our chances.

I didnt hear Duemig this morning but I heard Dan Sileo really talking us up this morning. He was very high on the Bulls and called far every Bull fan to show up to Cincy and WVA in force.

Weak schedule? We are in the same conference, we have virtually the SAME schedule. And two of our OOC oppoents are ranked in the top 5 in the country. And it looks like if UCF wins they may end up being ranked as well. What an idiot.

Last year we were getting looks from some serious QB talent, like Perrilleoux for example. If we win the Big East and go to a bowl game and look respectable or even better win, maybe we land a the big time QB recruit we werent able to last year because its so much easier for them to see how close we are to really breaking out big where as last year unless you followed the team it wasnt as clear.

I prefer Rod "Run...all the way to Buffalo" Smith, but thats just me.

Me too, hope we don't get over confident. This is a very important game. With all of the, running the table and winning the Big East talk I think many have overlooked the fact that a win here would put us bowl eligable.

Wow, if we win out it is possible that at the end of the season we will be ranked ahead of both Florida and FSU. Who would have thought that possible at the beginning of the season. So much for "the big 3". If that were to happen I expect a HUGE recruiting year.

Tampa is not the only one to blame, but I could certainly make a case for supply and demand, if Tampa residents would get out and support this team and sell out Ray Jay and show a demand for USF Football you better believe the games would be televised. This team has been around for nearly 10 years, is a D1-A BCS Football team and cannot get widespread support from the locals or even the local media for the most part. This is one of the largets cities in the country and one of the largest television markets and we cant even get the local Football teams games televised, ridiculous.
