I think we have a chance to show the nation what we got coming up. Win or lose I pray we play them close or even better blow them out. If we play them close we will get respect. As for pitt recruiting like a mofo, NOT SO FAST! All these 4-5 star recruits are going to pitt cuzz of stache and his claim he can get people to the NFL, these kids are star struck and will probably have problems in school anyway. If they have any sort of brain they wouldn't go to Pitt. I don't know about you guys but WVU doesn't recruit based on stars, we recruit team players, and I really don't see those Pitt commits being very team oriented.

MikeG if you have read most of my posts on this forum you will see I give your team respect...I even mentioned that I was interested in the team. I merely started this thread so I could see what everyone thought, and to see how many big headed fans you have. All of the posters on here have been very kind and I've even chatted with some of them and listened to the Cincy game with them. With that being said I believe that both of the teams fans feel confident they have a shot, and thats how it should be. No fan should truely believe his team will lose.

Right now with Slaton and White we are speed, but we've got some strong running backs. I realy don't care if we are speed attack or power attack, as long as we win games.

I guess you havn't seen Owen Schmitt yet...hopefully Gwaltney will be back sometime and show you the real power running attack.

I don't realy think it is fair saying that Pat White is a horrible QB. This guy is already better than what Rasheed Marshall ever was. As for Raymond James...we will have a LOT of mountaineers there, we are one of the best traveling teams in the country and we have a lot of fans down that way, I wouldn't be suprised if a large chunk of the fans there are for WVU. MikeG as for your comment...Did you even watch The Backyard Brawl?

After beating Louisville, hardly anyone went on the field....we saw all those dogs and cops with night sticks and pepper spray. But you guys won't have to worry about who will go for it first and what kind of protection to wear.

To the one guy who said we arn't as fast as your "florida speed".well we were playing in 0 degrees with a little snow and small bits of ice on the field....also we have a lot of players from the south and many from Florida. Pat White isn't a bad passer, but he isn't great...yet. Some of his throws were off due to bad timing (which can be corrected with practice) and just the cold and the wind, you try to throw a football in that weather!

Thanks, yeah White shows signs of touch sometimes, but he realy lacked it tonight. He should get it down good for next year. I bleed blue and gold but I have to say I'm a little interested in the USF program...lets see if you guys can work your way up to the top of the BE consistantly.

I remember someone posting on here a few days ago saying USF's defense was nearly as good as WVUs. I think you guys could hang with us for a bit, but you won't win. If any of you doubt our passing game,(White only threw for I think 41 yards on 10 attempts) just think, did WVU realy need to pass?

lol burn couches in Tampa.  We don't usually burn them in other cities.  But don't you worry about that, we are saving our couches for after the sugar bowl. ÂÂ
