    Agreed. The reality of being a non p 5 conference means we can be outspent. May be hard to get any proven this way. Could still be a good hire just not what some hoped as far as name recognition.

    Not so much about Heath as about the hopes of a real proven winner. Still can be a great hire just will take time to see..the thing is many are tired of waiting and being disappointed.

    No humor in any of this. Watching the tourney shows just how bad we are. How are such smaller programs run so much better then ours. Small schools playing great basketball makes me wonder why not us.

    How can this be anything but good. Only has 1 year left so it is not taking a spot from anyone. Gets the Dungy family around the program, if you don't see the value in that you are just trying to be negative. Would be great for recruiting and for the connections Tony has...and maybe the kid makes some plays for us. What is not to love?

    Seems like he could be a hell of a recruiter and great experience if we can't get a proven winner. Might not be a splashy hire, but could have big potential. Interesting anyway.

    Nobody seems to talking about Howland. Seems like a logical fit to me..worked with Harlan at UCLA and has made numerous final fours.

    I understand the sentiment however I would have a tougher time writing my check knowing the administration was OK with how poorly our teams had been performing. I see my donation as part of a change...hopefully for the better.

    I am really on the fence on this, would love to see what everyone thinks (this is currently being debated as part of other topics). On the positive side: Best season in USF history only 2 years ago. Loss of AC obviously hurt badly this year (how many more games would we have won if he was healthy?) Shooting help on the way (Clayton and Troy H) Coach appears to be a great guy (I know this really doesn't matter) Negative side: Terrible offense (even during our best season two years ago) Terrible collapses against below average losses Donors and board ready to give up Thoughts?

    Was just thinking the same thing. I almost responded in a negative fashion to John Lewis, however it is not his fault so I will sleep on my thoughts. They did it early to let people pay over 8 months which is good, but the timing is obviously poor with yet another terrible loss today. I for one will wait until they decide what to do and then I will prob still keep my tickets and pay on the last day as usual, then be mad about it lol.
