  1. Csk was a high school coach and wasn’t successful. did nothing to deserve to be a Oc. Ckb won a state championship in high school in 4 years and won championships at Jacksonville with top offense in the nation and won national championship at Valdosta state undefeated with top offense in the nation which is the same school that Kirby smart, mike leach, and Dana holgerson coached at. Ckb knows the state and knows what it takes to build programs. I believe he would kill it here! How is valdosta on a 24 game winning streak (Clemson is on a 25 game winning streak) undefeated again right now and won the conference ? Because those are Ckb’s players. He built that. Literally left them a dynasty. Crazy thing is all those kids come back next year! Ckb has always taken programs like ours and made them great. He’s a winner as a head coach. He wins championships which we haven’t done here.
  2. We are awful vs the run and 3rd down and are awful on special teams also, haven’t been able to block the good teams, have no QBs, and no explosive playmakers., and have recruited bad. Starts at the top! No one can do what ford does. He hasn’t played and a walk on is tied with the tight end on touchdown catches.
  3. I don’t believe that. I believe the teams we have barley lost to have good defenses that stop the run and the offenses weren’t good. When we have played the top teams in the conference with good offenses we have been blown out by half time. No reason a program like here in Florida should go from 11-2, 10 and 2, 7amd6, to where we are now. That is recruiting and from the top. Obviously something isn’t right in the program. Ckb has only been here this year. With QBs hurt, and not players he recruited. Let’s be honest with ourselves, last year we barely won 7 games and looked bad. We also had a lot more talent than we do this year. How does that happen!
  4. We already have more passing touchdowns now than we had all of last year. Redshirt freshman Qb that has missed a lot open passes and our best playmaker suspended all year and our receivers are average at best and we don’t have a special back like we had with Mack. What you expect to happen this season ? Donovan Jennings getting hurt early in the game killed the offense vs temple. Oline couldn’t run block or pass block vs them. Goes back to recruiting which ckb was not here for.
  5. If ckb had flowers. In this offense with him recruiting. We would win the conference!
  6. Ckb has been here since spring. These aren’t his players. He was brought here to fix this mess of not recruiting very well the last 3 years. Ccs got rid of Bell, Salomon, Antoine, Mack, while we also lost starters McCants, Bronson. He hasn’t been able to recruit anyone that is here. We have one of the worst Qb situations in college football. Vs the better teams in the conference the oline hasn’t been able to block and we haven’t had 1 running back besides ford do something special vs the better teams. Goes back to recruiting. Even with all that we have had receivers open. We either have dropped balls or Qb has missed a lot of opportunities. Sooner or later the players have to make the plays when they get put in good situations. Ckb knows how to build from scratch. He has done it every where he has been. He has recruited every where he had been and in less that 3 years won either a conference or national championship. His Valdosta state players he recruited still haven’t lost a game this year and are still #1 in the country on a 23 game win streak. Ckb built that. This is ccs 3rd year and Ckb 1st year. You give Ckb 3 years and I believe the roster and team wouldn’t look like this. Just look at ucf dynamic players compared to us, they run past everyone . We didn’t even look fast vs Temple a team from up north.
  7. You are right! That just shows we need to recruit better. But I also believe ckb offense has helped us because you can tell he’s actually game planing vs the defense each week running different plays that attacks the defense. Unlike last couple years where we just lined up and ran the same plays
  8. Hasn’t done it vs the top teams in the conference. Didn’t last year. He would be 3rd string at ucf. Umass is awful , Ecu was bad , UConn was bad . He’s a solid back and pretty tough. Sometimes runs out of bounds instead of trying to get more yards for a bigger back.
  9. I like Cronkite as a football player but he isn’t fast or a playmaker. He got ran down from behind last week. Watching the games last year and this year he struggles vs the better teams when the holes aren’t wide open and doesn’t make defenders miss.
  10. #36 played basically the tight end position which put him in the back field. How wilcox and Mathis have caught a couple touchdowns from the back field.
  11. Last year ckb tight ends caught 9 touchdowns. But they were more blockers and not like Wilcox. Also the big wr #3 at Valdosta state played a lot of tight end. Some years at Jacksonville he played with a tight end. Some years he didn’t. When he first got hired here ckb stated that his system will be based on the players he has. If he has 2 good RBs he would play them both. Like him moving ford to slot. If he has a bunch of good receivers he will play them or like this year we have better tight ends so he is playing them more. I also believe a lot of good Oc’s gameplan vs the defense and put the best formations on the field to be successful that week.
  12. As of right now our best player on offense is suspended and watching the games we don’t have other explosive players. Yes there are times our receivers have been open and qb has missed them or receivers have dropped the ball. Probably the reason why both tight ends are doing so well because they catch the ball when they get it. The play designs are there. We have even threw some screens to the receivers. Issue is we don’t have another player like ford. Or like we use to have here. We lost some good players and also some talented fast guys have left/pushed out the program. I think ckb has done the best he could with the situation he is in. He has made changes and made adjustments to help our players and isn’t just mailing it in running the same plays. Hopefully he gets the time to get what he needs. If not I fear he will be successful some where else and we will regret it!
  13. Ckb Offense last year at Valdosta state Ran for over 250 yards a game. He wants to be balanced and be able to have explosive players passing the ball and running the ball. People at Valdosta state have been complaining about there team this year that the coach is running the same plays and isn’t aggressive down the field and aren’t game planning vs the defense They only scored 20 points last week with the same players vs a team that they scored over 50 points on last year! I believe his pro style philosophy’s are great for us if he gets a chance to recruit because like you have seen he is able to change formations and still be able to run his offense out of different personnel’s to Get the most out of the little talent we have.
  14. Ckb will figure it out. He always has. Look how he is recruiting on offense. We have 2 talented QBs committed and a lot of speed/playmakers with the ball. I think he understands recruiting this state and has a feel about him that people like. Also Ckb has went out offering some juco offensive lineman and playmakers. As of right now we have 0 juco offensive lineman on the team. Is it ckb fault our best player/playmaker Ford is suspended? I think not!
  15. Ckb had 2 duel threat QBs at Valdosta state. His Qbs ran for over 1000 yards. One ran for 11 touchdowns and the other ran for 7. The back up was Ivory Durham who won Raines High School the state championship. He was in the same class as mccloud. He was just short. Ckb hasn’t got to recruit the qb he needs here yet. He has 2 athletic QBs committed in this class. Offenses work because of the Qb that is catching the snaps. Ckb got stuck with ccs QBs that we’re recruited before he got here. Ckb always finds good QBs every where he has been. His qb at Valdosta state came in 2nd for the d2 heisman. So we can’t say Ckb offense won’t work here when he has had Duel Threat QBs just like last year. His starter had 50 total Total touchdowns as a sophomore.
  16. Someone gets it. Definitely a culture is issue. You see it the way we play and in recruiting. We shouldn’t look as slow navy. It starts from the top, if we didn’t lose 6 in a row last year I wouldn’t be defending the new coaches. But they walked into a bad situation and it looks like it’s at the point where it can’t be fixed. Can’t judge a offense without a competent Qb or him being able to get his guys in 7 games.
  17. Maybe our qb situation is that bad. Just because we are fbs doesn’t mean we have recruited good QBs here. Obviously you don’t watch the games. Any average Qb can hit wide open receivers. The oline has played great the last 3 weeks. Mccloud had a lot of time yesterday. We are just a really bad team with no big time players. Bb threw 12 touchdowns last year and 11 ints. Mccloud obviously shouldn’t be starting at this level. You can’t have a explosive or great offense if the Qb can’t complete a pass. We have to recruit better. Obviously the last 3 years ccs has struggled recruiting QBs and talent. Look at ucf when there players are open the Qb hits them. And about Kb producing. We ran for 240 vs a BYU team that just beat Boise state. Who supposedly have a good offense. If ckb can get a qb in here to throw the ball. It will change everything I believe!
  18. A lot of time in college football it’s the head coaches decision on who plays at Qb and who get taken out. Obviously mccloud is ccs recruit. The line blocked Navy better than any of the teams before that played them. Even the Memphis game. Ckb ran the ball but navy decided to stack the box and did it better than BYU. You can’t just run the ball vs good teams with everyone stopping the run. Sooner or later the Qb will have to make the throw . Wilcox was open a bunch and mccloud just didn’t throw him the ball. A lot of receivers were running wide open and mccloud had good protection. He just didn’t hit them again. Ckb also called short passes and mccloud missed them. Obviously it’s a recruiting issue here and a qb issue. If you can’t see that then you are watching the game with your heart, not your eyes!
  19. Obviously in last 3 years, we have missed on a lot of the recruits that have been signed. Even shows with us trying to bring in so many grad transfers. Scott frost found talent and speed. A lot of kids that went to ucf and out of state that USF didn’t go after or offer. Also we have gotten rid of some of our best players. Our coaches either don’t know talent or haven’t worked at recruiting hard enough the last 3 years. It needs to change or we won’t compete for the conference championship. We just don’t have enough playmakers right now and qb situation is probably the worst in the fbs.
  20. Even With us playing a great Wisconsin defense and struggling hitting open receivers with a young qb , we are tied for 3rd in the conference in touchdown passes. That’s with mccloud missing easy ones because he got hurt. UConn he missed some easy ones also. If he can get healthy and play better we will keep getting better. If not then it won’t be intill next year if bell can get a qb.
  21. Ckb Offense is nothing like Cwt or The one at Stanford. Like he stated it’s a pro spread offense. Has a pro style passing game with new plays every week but also has the spread run and screen game like he said. His QBs last year if you go to Valdosta state stats ran for over 1100 yards and 18 touchdowns. Also thrown for 50 touchdowns. So no it’s nothing like cwt or Stanfords old school pro style. Ckb said when he took the job he has the first no huddle Pro spread system. If Q got to play in ckb’s Offense we would win the conference. Because he’s detailed. Not just play ground the way flowers was running around. Didn’t matter what play was called.
  22. They have 4 or 5. Did have the highest paid right tackle in the nfl a couple years ago also. Ryan Schraeder for falcons.
  23. Valdosta state former dB Kenny Moore just signed the highest paid nickel dB contract in the nfl for the colts.
  24. Yeah I believe ford fits what he wants to do. If you watch the Valdosta state games on YouTube you will see a explosive receiver core that are natural wide receivers running routes and never dropping passes. I believe Ford fits what bell wants but he’s suspended. McDoom was open 3 or 4 times last week and the UConn game and qb missed him. I believe Horne is more of a track guy than natural wide receiver. Watching the games he struggled early in season running routes and creating space as a receiver. Bell had 1 senior receiver at Valdosta state that is on practice squad with chiefs. Also 2 more were all conference as sophomores. He also has another Receiver in the NfL from small school Jacksonville going on his 4th year. I believe ford was going to have a big year. First game playing vs ga tech he scored in slot and then had 100 yards the 2nd game. It sucks he is suspended to see what he could have kept doing in Ckb’s system! We don’t have no one close to him right now as a game changer. That makes ckb Job even tougher. Probably why we have offered a couple juco receivers for guys to play now.
  25. He had more touchdown catches already this year than he had all season last year!
