They had the whole offense back averaged 39 points while Kb team averaged 52 points and only scored under 45 points once all year! Valdosta just lost in the 2nd round of the playoffs last week and at one point we’re down 31to14. Valdosta fans are saying they should have won the national championship but coaching and running the air raid wasn’t as good as What Bell was doing. Think about the culture and players Bell left at Valdosta state for a new coach who had a losing record walk in and go undefeated and win the conference. That’s what great head coaches do. Leave the place they had better than when they got it. By the way Kb was the head coach, his son Kade called the plays at Valdosta.

It didn’t happen because he played professional for a long time. And he has always been a head coach since coaching in high school. He moved up as a head coach. Kb was happy in Jacksonville building Ju plus his son came to play there. That’s why he stayed so long. Coaching is about contacts and about who you worked for. Kb has never worked for anyone because he’s always been a head coach. There are a lot of lower level coaches that’s been successful, Willie Fritz and Brian Kelly, Mike leach just to name a couple. Brian kelly produced the best offense in d2 history before bell produced the best and most efficient offense in history of football while going undefeated. Kelly turned out pretty good.

Kb is spread. His Qb at Valdosta ran for 800 yards and 11 rushing touchdowns. He Had fast playmakers and they played fast and got the Ball. Difference here he had no Qb and didint have the personal to get the ball to make big plays. When they did Qb couldn’t hit them at all or we couldn’t block. He didn’t get to go out and recruit his guys. He already stated he had faster players at Valdosta. Kb will recruit players like we had with the gco, that’s the type of kids he recruited to Valdosta. We just don’t have the same caliber players now that we had then. That’s not his fault. He wasn’t here for last 3 years recruiting.

As bad as we were player wise and Qb wise we beat BYU and scored almost 50 on Ecu and Kb out coached a Cincinnati team that has better players. With our qb, left tackle and both senior RBs out last 4 games. Mccloud should have not been playing qb at this level and he’s all we had, he wasn’t ready to play. Issue is just because we signed 3 stars last 3 years doesn’t mean they are good obviously we have recruited bad players. The teams we play run same plays, they just have a lot better players and QBs!

That dude couldn’t touch Kb as a coach. Valdosta state broke the conference record with 25 wins straight because of Kb players. People at Valdosta said Mike leach and Dana Holgorsen’s offenses at Valdosta state was no where near what bell built!

King hasn’t done anything. Wasn’t successful in high school, was a 7on7 coach. Heard he’s been a issue at USF with staffs and some of the culture issue. hasn’t recruited Tampa very well. A lot of players he has brought in are reason we are so bad.

Funny everyone in the country wants Joe Brady but he Runs a PRO StYLE offense. Offense is offense. It’s all about recruiting and players and qb. Strong would have gotten fired with anyone running the offense as bad as we are. Memphis, smu, ucf, Cincinnati, temple, all have better players than us and Navy had the best Qb on the field. Let Bell get his Qb and players in here just like he has done every where else and we will be competing for a championship. Funny Valdosta State was average then suddenly the best d2 team and offense ever. He leaves and new coach walks in and they still go undefeated but lose in playoffs because the new coach that runs the AIR RAID couldn’t score like Bell could with the same players. Bell can recruit Florida, has that confidence about him and has won a championship every where he had been as a head coach. Guy raised money at Valdosta and at Jacksonville where he was given money to build a on campus stadium. He knows how to build and run a program!

Plus you add blake getting hurt again and only having 1 scholarship qb who was also hurt all year with his thumb and wasn’t ready to play. I mean Kb did figure out how to beat BYU which Tennessee, usc and Boise state couldn’t do. USC Oc is suppose to be so good though. Ga tech game as bad as blake we had chance to win an Cronkite fumbled on the 1. Also atleast when we played the Ecu’s and UConn’s we actually scored a lot of points vs them. Unlike last year where we couldn’t score vs unconn or Ecu and we had better players last year. Also Kb gained over 400 yards on a Cincinnati defense that teams with a lot more talent struggled with. If you really look at all the issues offensive team went through with injuries and who we had playing qb , oline and then no Johnny ford all year.

Kb player professional for 13 year. Ever since he started as a head coach he has won either a conference or national championship in his 1st 3 season. High school won the state championship. Jacksonville never had a winning record. Year 2 he won the conference championship. Kb last year 2 years at Jacksonville he was 9 and 2, 9 and 2. Since then Jacksonville has went 5 and 5, 7 and 4, 2 and 8, 3 and 8 (won 1 game in conference this year) at Valdosta year 3 he won conference and national championship. The guy builds programs as a head coach and wins championships

Yeah oline was hidden because of flowers. Some games we couldn’t even block for quick throws. I think Jennings getting hurt really messed us up we absolutely don’t have any back ups that should even touch the field because none could bear out billy or Marcus. Plus Cronkite didn’t play 2 of last 4 games. Billy is gone and Marcus gone. Obviously recruiting at oline has to be way better. Memphis and ucf Get jucos and transfers out of state on oline. This year since Kb has gotten here we have offered a lot more juco lineman. Obviously by the recruits Kb wants more athletic players than just big guys that can’t move.

I heard that he was old school and didn’t have any fu or confidence. Was negative and players never knew what what going on with schedules changing all the time.

He failed because of Charlie’s recruiting and Charlie getting rid of a lot of good players. The oline is awful. Our starting tackle Jennings was hurt the last 4 games and had 1 qb and he shouldn’t even be playing at this level. Can’t turn water into wine. Reason we went from 11 and 2 to where we are now. It doesn’t just happen because of one coach. When things are as bad as it is now you can’t just fix it in a year. Watch the ucf game we are also slow. Our wrs couldn’t get open vs none of there dbs and if they did qb can’t hit them. This is a rebuilding process. Close to 3 years from competing for the conference. We need a confident coach who will bring some positivity and swagger back. That understands Florida and has won a championship before. The Valdosta players raved about Kb. Said it was fun playing for him and created a winning family culture.

USF Was 0 and 3 vs the Bell’s. Valdosta hung 48 on them last year at UWF. Valdosta had the entire same offensive players back and were no where near as explosive. Averaging less than 40 a game with same players. People saying they lost this year because of coaching.

Kade was a big part at Valdosta State. Was the Offensive Coordinator and Called the plays. Recruited a lot of the players from Florida that went 25 and 1 there the last 2 years. Also heard he is a big part of the offensive recruiting here with the QBs and speed that we have been recruiting this year plus Latrell Williams the Tennessee Transfer.

Kb Offense is pro style and spread. His qb last year ran for more than 800 yards and 11 touchdowns on the ground. How much more spread can you get ? Obviously we didn’t have the Qb, oline , and playmakers to be successful. Blaming Kb when he didn’t even get a chance to recruit his guys here is ridiculous. We need to stop talking about the gulf coast. It was The Flowers Offense. Reason why taggart offense hasn’t been successful any where else. Reason why even with flowers at Qb we couldn’t even win the division. Let Kb recruit his qb and players and we will be playing in the conference championship. Every where Kb has been he’s built up into championship teams for the ground up. We went from 10 and 2, 7 and 6 (6 straight loses) 4and8 for a reason that was the issue before Kb even got here. Give Kb a chance to recruit Florida and create his winning culture he would kill it here. Just look at the offensive recruits he’s been recruiting this year. Hire a coach that has built a program and won a conference or national championship every where he has been. Only Kb has done that. Not once at a program has he not won a championship in 3 years.

It’s Game day here at USF in Tampa Florida we already have the coach on staff to win the Conference Championship! It has been 3 years and we are no where near where we should be talent wise and as a program. The fun and excitement has been taken out of the program! It can not be fixed and we can not wait another year. Coach Kerwin Bell is the right man for this job. He knows how to clean up messes and build a program like ours that haven’t won a conference championship! He’s a natural leader and winner and has shown it every where he has been as a head coach! He gets people to buy in and sets a standard to reach that goal. He understands the state of Florida and people like him as a person. I believe he is a competitor and will do whatever it takes to take this program to the next level. Throughout his career he has always won and built with less just like CJL did. He would build this program up to where we have never been and is the type of person to stay like he did at Jacksonville University. At Jacksonville University before he got there, they had never had a winning record. In year 2 he won the conference championship and then 2 more while having the top offense in the country in 2010. 3 years after leaving Jacksonville University, Last year Jacksonville finished 2 and 8 last in the conference. As of now Jacksonville is last in the conference again. That is the effect of Kerwin Bell leaving! At Valdosta State, Kerwin Bell went 5 and 4 year 2. Once Kerwin Bell’s recruits got in there they went undefeated in year 3 while winning In a conference record margin. They went on to be the first Valdosta State team to go undefeated and win the National Championship. While having the most efficient and explosive offense in college football history. After leaving Valdosta State, Valdosta State is undefeated again with a brand new staff and conference championship. Valdosta State is on a 24 game win streak which is behind Clemson’s 25 game win streak! Those are Coach Kerwin Bell’s players, and he created that culture. After all the big time coaches that have coached at Valdosta State, never have they been this good back to back year. The man knows how to build a program, create a standard, and culture of excellence! We need to let him do that here as the Head Coach. He would invest in the city of Tampa and create a love for USF football again because thats what he has always done.

Those guys in that article don’t play for a reason.

Who has he recruited? Obviously no one has recruited well here if we are this bad and without the grad transfers it would be worse.

Hard to earn when you have been here since spring. first time Ckb has not been in charge and under someone else. He has always been a head coach and implemented his culture and built the program he was at by year 3. If we expected different results with this team and the way we have gotten worst the last 3 years then we are kidding ourselves. Everyone else on staff has obviously not recruited well enough for us to compete for a championship.

Ford played in 3 games had 100 yards receiving in 1 game. Caught 2 touchdowns and ran for 1 touchdown in 3 games. Yeah he don’t matter...... As much as you want to put it on ckb. We don’t have the playmakers right now or Qb. It’s all about players and leadership from the top. That goes to show recruiting the last 3 years and us getting worst every year, which has nothing to do with Ckb.

It’s obvious we have struggled vs teams that are a lot better than us talent wise. But vs teams like Ecu where talent is close or worst Ckb offense has been putting up some points. And you see the play design and the game planning. Even BYU game if mccloud could hit the open routes and deep balls to mcdoom we would have at least 3 more touchdowns. That’s the difference from last year, we were struggling with all the sorry teams like Ecu, UConn etc!

Ccs has been preaching in his interviews about running the football. If you go watch Valdosta state last year when they do that it looks nothing like the offense he wants to run. Maybe he’s not having total full control. Or maybe they just though with a young qb that hasn’t been playing well. Just try to run the ball and help him out.

No Johnny ford, (ran for 800 yards as a true freshman) , no Solomon (Starter), mccants(starter), Bronson(Starter), duron Bell gone, Mack played some, then Antoine gone who is lightening it up at fau plus a qb who been hurt and can’t throw and looks scared to throw........can we be realistic! I do believe if we gave Ckb the reins in 3 years we would be in the conference championship! He just knows what it takes to get there!

If you watch the temple game Ckb threw some screens and rpo’s. (We don’t have players that can make plays in space) Also attempted to throw some slants and quick throws. Qb just held onto the ball or missed them..They also tried to go 2 tight ends to try to run the ball and take pressure off Qb. They just couldn’t handle them up on the line. Ckb will get a qb that can win a championship. He always has, Look at the Qb he recruited at Ju and the Qb that lead them to the national championship at Valdosta could run and throw. He even had John Brantley in high school who was gator national player of the year under him. Flowers was the gulf coast. Proves with out him the offense was nothing. Just the same how good fliowers made us look in 2018.

Wilcox has already doubled his touchdown catches in any other year he has played. That’s with a below average Qb, who hasn’t been able to get him the ball when hes open. Give Ckb flowers, Mack, Johnson, Valdez, Rodney Adams, and the guys we had. Yeah we would win the conference just likes hes always done when he goes recruit good players. Ckb signed 2 juco players that were seniors last year at Valdosta. Both are on nfl teams from a d2 school while he switched a receiver to Db his senior year and it got him drafted this past past year. Ckb knows talent, knows the state, and knows how to lead! Like I said he would kill it here and build the program up to a championship level team!
