    We are all on the same page however saying the ACC is better without FSU and Clemson is simply inaccurate.

    Because they are way more irrelevant then some of our conference opponents, small school with crappy sports. Why don’t we play Rollins or Eckerd? Same reason.

    The big 12 is probably a better football conference but most of you being east of the Mississippi would rather play schools east of the Mississippi. Quality is better in the Big 12 but you would never know it because you are not interested in the schools west of you and you don’t watch or know anything about the big 12. I get it, and if I lived east of the Mississippi I would feel the same way.

    Screw them, they are getting paid, it is a nice life lesson for when they go out on their own. Life ain’t fair, deal with it.

    I don’t disagree and it is and always has been about money. I am just not so sure this will be financially advantageous, the pool will shrink but I think the pot will too. I adapted to life after the MLB and the NBA, I am sure I will after I stop watching college sports as well. I can always find something to amuse me and as long as we still have alcohol and gambling I may be watching cricket in the future and enjoying it, who knows.

    It is however he definitely has a point. The road we are on is straight into a ditch, this is more than a bunch of old guys reminiscing about the good ole days, the current model may not destroy the sport but it will definitely weaken it.

    The first time we ever made the top 25 was this year and I don’t remember us ever demanding we dance. We went on a fortuitous run to win the sun Belt tourney in 90 and that was completely out of the blue. 91-92 we had a good team, had good wins and lost the first game of the Metro tourney, making it that year was a surprise after the first round exit in the conference tournament. 2012 was completely out of character and were the last four in and had to compete in the play in game. Your rose colored glasses of the past are incredibly deceiving unless this was an attempt at humor, if so I misses the sarcasm font.

    Exactly, we were going to play c and they had to give them the home game regardless of record due to the superiority of the Big12 to the AAC

    The opt out in the bowls are a way bigger deal. If you didn’t post that these 3 teams won’t accept an invite then I never would have noticed. The people that watch the NIT are only fans of those schools and watch only those schools and they don’t pay attention to the rest of the brackets.

    Our team was obviously not peaking but the ridiculous referee’s destroyed the game. The constant whistle’s regardless of a foul made the game unwatchable unless you had a dog in the hunt

    When we win a ******* conference after losing only two games in said conference and still can’t make the dance it makes you wonder what is the ******* point.

    We would probably have lost anyway, but the referee’s destroyed this game, they were absolute trash, I wouldn’t use them for a game at the Y.
