    I for one think everyone needs to slow their roll and I once again agree with Trips, the voice of reason. I obviously love the guy like everyone else does right now but you can’t throw out crazy money, especially when you don’t have crazy money. We will extend him and make the buyout higher but we are not going to offer 3mil, get that out of your head.

    I really didn’t hear much about firing CAG, he won the first couple conf games. Amir was a different story, 2-4 and losing to some really bad teams, Maine, Hofstra, CMU. Nobody said fire him but many thought he wouldn’t last more than 2 years. The turnaround was unprecedented and glad I was dead wrong about him along with many others.

    VPMK maybe, don’t remember anyone calling for the firing of either one. Some were questioning their capabilities, I certainly was on Coach Amir but pull the post that said we should fire either one of them after the first 6-7 games?

    Chucky was a freshman when I was a senior, we had golf together, he skipped 90 percent of the classes at a minimum. Enjoyed watching Dobras, Lewis, Russell, Alexander, Shahid etc… was a long time ago, enjoying this ride, never saw it coming like most.

    I think what makes this so special isn’t that we won a regular season conference title finally however that was great. It is that after all of these years of watching our teams struggle to score and watching defensive struggles, poor shooting, bad ball handling etc…we are watching a fun team that has 4 shooters on the floor at all times, we are deep, we hit free throws, we play D, we can drive, shoot from the perimeter, close out games with clutch play. This team is the exact opposite of what we have been watching pretty much consistently for the past 30 plus years. Savor the moment because god knows we have earned it from all of the years of bad pick up ball that we have been subjected too.

    They are getting everyone’s best now and that was a nice response. Had a couple 3 minute droughts that kept it close however you have to love this ******* team!!!

    We are the better team, they will double down on Miguel and Youngblood will have a big 2nd half. Either way keep grinding, that was always my motto in college however the meaning was a little different.
