    Very good point, I have a daughter interning in Dallas in accounting. Almost everyone she knows got an offer from all of the big 4 and her University makes up about 75% of the class at this firm. Dave G or you would know best but I can’t believe USF is near that level in accounting. i am not even sure they beat FSU, forget about UF altogether.

    I may have touched a nerve. As stated before, we are not really known for academics and are are a far cry from the elite, I simply feel we have a better chance of competing and becoming well known through a superior Athletic program, but Judy “clown face” Genshaft robbed us of that opportunity. I am currently paying tuition for a top notch University and see the opportunities it provides through the employers interest in the school, we aren’t even close to that level.

    Yes, many people that know nothing about academia feel we are superior because we have more federal or state grant dollars to piss away.

    I know we had UCONN and that made it impossible, I want the nonessential teams to win too, we shall see.

    The best players play, he must have been the best we had per two head coaches. He wasn’t any good but either was our D line or LB’s so the **** rolls downhill and he was at the bottom. Won’t miss him but unlike Corey won’t hate on him either.

    Brybull still giving up votes, he has got to be bouncing off the walls, CBG gets a pass due to Yetna injury last year and now covid this year. Probably a a swarm of locusts or a Nuclear attack saves him next year, dude is a cockroach, he ain’t going nowhere. Had to think for a moment on CJF, there are only 15 USF fans left and only 3 of them watch WBB, so nobody cares on that one way or another but he seems to be pretty successful I guess for a guy that has probably not won a conference championship either.

    I guess in the grand scheme of things I don’t care where they play. They could play in my backyard and I wouldn’t watch however I am not sure where Coco would poop.

    I accepted this fact long ago and would be thrilled with a conference championship. If it makes you feel better there are only a handful of schools that have a realistic shot of a National Championship, the rest are just trying to make a splash from time to time. Let’s get back to bowling again and I would be happy, lower your standards and you will be much happier.

    What a D bag, however that would be hilarious. He is very similar to Alec Baldwin’s wife, he claims Hispanic heritage because his housekeeper was Mexican even though he is Irish.

    I really don’t go there much, it is no longer in my territory and I don’t care for it much. Too liberal, too weird, trying to be like San Francisco.

    If you are downtown than 6th street is still enjoyable, and your wife would enjoy it as well. Lot of restaurants, bars, music etc.. Austin is very liberal so that town may be locked down some however the rest of the state is as wide open as Florida.

    Enjoyed it but had enough Mexican food to last a life time. The Riverwalk is pretty cool, don’t forget the Alamo and nice canyons to explore, I like the Dallas area better though.

    I have lived in both cities and have to admit I like Tampa better as well. San Antonio was a nice change up and the neighborhoods with all large rolling hills was pretty cool. The river walk comparison, SA wins hands down, they have a dome (they can’t play at Tampa Stadium because it is outside?), an NBA stadium and is centrally located. I could give a flip either way, only way I tune in is if the women make the final four which is unlikely.

    Actually not a bad place to have it, San Antonio has tons of hotels, The Riverwalk, Alamodome, amusement parks and great weather that time of year. However an intellectual dullard like yourself has probably never been outside of Pasco County.

    Great info but some of this makes no sense, anyone that scores 400-499 is moron and no way they would let them into an Academy, they would be destined for failure. 400 is the score if you just sign your name, not sure if you meant a combined of 800-1000 which is still low but makes sense for some of the FB players. I would think a US Senator would have to nominate multiple kids if not each class in theory would only be 100 cadets. Either way congrats to you dad, and thank your son for his service.

    Being a Bears fan as a kid I knew about Gayle Sayers. NEB used to fly, I ran some track and his times were insane. An older sister got a full ride track scholly offer from KU and would have been up there at the same time. Who knows me and NEB could have been bro in-laws, but highly unlikely she was way out of his league

    Yes you need a nomination from a member of the US Congress and the admissions is very challenging. We are preeminent but that is absolutely ridiculous. I know most schools have a lower standards for athletics and an even lower one for BB and FB but this is a 9 year commitment and they don’t have a history of enrolling slugs. One of my sisters works at the USAFA, I will hit her up on some intel.

    I had a sister, brother in-law and a niece all graduate from a service academy, USAF. They do relax a tad for Athletics for acceptance but not that much. The classes only have 1500-1800 cadets and they don’t waste those slots on knuckleheads. I call bs on this prep school crap.
