  1. Well if Charlie has the team properly prepared to play this season (which by his own words he did not last season), then hopefully a let down can be avoided against Tech after the opener. Having the team to prepare to play a football game is an important ingredient for success on the field, and hopefully Charlie realized this during his off season self-reflection.
  2. I am just going to assume Wisconsin beats us. At that point the losing streak will be at seven games. The big question is, will Charlie and company have it in them to go on the road on September 7th and defeat Geoff Collins and Georgia Tech? Or will Charlie not prepare them to play and the losing streak stretches to eight? Luckily SC State is in week three, so the losing streak is pretty much guaranteed to stop at that point.
  3. Agreed, Wisconsin should have no problem running for close to 300, especially against our puny defensive line.
  4. Trust me, I will be the first in line with my plate. Until then, 7-5 in the regular season.
  5. It is definitely hard to see him coming back if there is a losing record since he was not Michael Kelly's hire. Definitely a make or break year. The program has gone downhill since he was hired. If that trend continues Kelly will want to bring in his own guy.
  6. Hopefully Charlie has the team prepared to play on a week-to-week basis. That would be an improvement over last season
  7. This is just my opinion, but the main reason I feel the crowds are so poor at RayJay is the fact that the AAC is considered minor league college football. I have two season tickets to USF home games and many weeks I have a hard time finding someone who wants to attend the games with me, and the reason I hear is that , they just don't care about the AAC. We could go undefeated in the regular season two years in a row, like ucf, and I still don't think the large home crowds would return, because of the fact that the AAC is perceived as minor league. Sure you will get the 15k-20k hardcores that will come, but the casual fan does not care.
  8. How do you figure? We went 7-5 in the regular season last year.
  9. I hate the fact that we still can't win the AAC, more than I hate the AAC.
  10. I definitely agree with you. Strong is not Kelly's hire. Strong better show signs that he has this program heading back in the right direction this season. I have my doubts about his ability to do that, but I would love to be proven wrong and eat a big heaping pile of crow.
  11. This is true. Some also like to keep their head buried in the sand and pretend all is well.
  12. I am not even worried about an OCS at this point. I turn 43 in June and I am not even sure an OCS will be built in my lifetime. What I am concerned about is the IPF getting done. It does concern me that we are the only team in the AAC without an IPF. Recruiting is going to take a big big hit if we don't break ground on that IPF soon (some feel it has already started to take a hit).
  13. I agree 100 percent. Spring practice starts tomorrow and guess what the weather forecast in Tampa is? Being the only team in the AAC without an IPF is not going to cut it for much longer.
  14. Whomever is selected to be the next President, I just hope he/she cares more about Athletics, or we will forever be in the dust of ucf.
  15. Alot can happen between now and August, but as of today, March 11th, this is what I am predicting for USF Wisconsin L @ Georgia Tech L SC State W SMU W @ UConn W BYU W @ Navy L @ East Carolina W Temple W Cincinnati L Memphis W @ UCF L
  16. I am definitely taking the under. This team has seven wins written all over it and a new coach coming for 2020.
  17. Go sing her praises on the USF academic message board, the last time I checked this is the athletics board . She has been an albatross to athletics from the get go and she is finally gone this summer.
