Probably a 1/10 for me. I have never been less interested in USF football and college football in general than I am right now. The feeling is gone and I just can’t get it back. Maybe the OCS will rekindle my passion in a few years. Until then it’s Raiders 1st and USF 2nd for me.
A lot of people I talk with that follow USF are getting tired of/frustrated with Michael Kelly. And yes I don’t talk with a whole bunch of people but MK is not popular around the “water cooler” in my social circles lol.
I like how Golesh is making moving up to the P5 a recruiting pitch. Jenkins mentions in the article on USF Bulls Insider was that was one of the things that sold him on USF.
I have been there since day one as well and have been to every game in the series except for 2020 and 2021. Incredibly exciting games and I could feel the energy at each of them. People are just sour because they have beaten us six straight times . I am with you , I would love to see the rivalry continue.
Very true. It’s not as if I talk to a ton of USF fans, but the ones I interact with regularly want to keep the rivalry going and are going to miss playing ucf this year.
I just think the Powers that be will allow Kelly’s hire, Golesh, to have three seasons, before they make any decisions on Kelly. If Golesh ends up being another Charlie Strong or Jeff Scott then Kelly won’t be hiring the next coach.
I don’t think the record will matter. Many students will be home for Thanksgiving break and the casual fan is not going to show up on a holiday weekend for Charlotte. Not sure how well Charlotte fans travel but I am assuming they won’t be much of a presence
