Of course that’s not going to be his goal. Thats just the realistic goal for the team we have. Were very bad. We lose some good players. Were not getting better over the off season with this group. We need influx of people to come in with the coach. Big bodies up front, and tough players. Next year is not going to suddenly Change because of a new coach. They have to get a recruiting class for 2023 with some additions or switches cause they came and then in 2023. 2024 is the year we win.

I agree. No sense in adding any more stress. We are going 1-11 regardless. No sense wasting emotions this year. Just support and hope for best coaching option

Agree with most but i think a dominant scheme in either offensive or defense. He cannot be a let the coordinator make the decision. We need someone who is known for offense or known for defense. I don’t care which but i usually lean more towards offense.

What do you think is going to happen on a 1-11 team next year? We suck bud. We aren’t becoming a winner next year. Year 2 of the new coach if he’s what we need will be the year to watch. Every good top notch coach needs 2 years. gb gives us the best chance to win 3-4 games next year with this team we have now but it’s his final year so a good amount of reps and packages for the redshirt freshman puts us in a position to win the year after which our coach may decide the freshman is way to go but gb can manage the game and run really well. 3-5 wins is our goal next year. Anything more would be extraordinary .

He has a shot to start unless we hire a coach and some qb comes with him. I think gb would be a solid qb for us next year to win 3-4 games but theres no doubt he is our future starter and i’d like to split time next year. Id say sophomore year he is qb1

Honestly brown should start next two games. Wont hurt his redshirt and he looked very good. He needs some reps. I was right by the way. We lost it in 3rd qtr lol

Yea i give them credit for keeping sideline up. You can see some adjustments on defense already with the mixture of zone and our guys seem to be in position to make plays.

I have no doubt a coach can impact the style of play. Wouldn’t mind getting bears corner coach and former bull james rowe on our defensive side of the ball.

Our conference is trash now and were still at the bottom. This is insulting but only way out is to win 2-3 years in a row

Again he isn’t dominating. They avg 25 pts a gAme and give up 24 His offense nor defense is a dynamic style of plat. He excels in neither. this would be a horrible hire with options available 1. Herman (i wasn’t high on this but he has won everywhere and was under a proven winner as mentor. 2. frost-from a pure dynamic standpoint he fits what we want to be. High powered offense who scores in under a minute. What he could do again with florida athletes leads your imagination to want him to have redemption from the pressure he was under back home. 3. jamey chadwell- the up and comer. Three 10 win seasons. Explosive offense. it’s these three or bust in my opinion. Hopefully a new name sparks us but for me there is no other options besides these three. gruden or leavitt is just old folks wishing this were the glory days.

New coach needs to be good to keep weaver or he shluld go to fau and he would be a hit in norvels offense

Simmons isn’t even dominating at the level needed to be a top consideration. Nothing about his career says gamechanger.

I’d take gruden for sure. Highly unlikely but would be nice. Frost is the most logical choice. He would transform us. Has ties to both offense and defense which is he transformed both their offense and defense. He would be the guy we have best shot who has proven success in our state recruiting and he brought milton to ucf. Read what he had to say about him. We would be insane not to target frost. His style fits our current roster the most and what we could become.

Considering our recruiting is terrible, none. Trickett has shown he can mix it up but not enough to keep. Hire someone and they need to bring their peoplep

I think we all appreciated what he did to build our program but his time was over even if that situation never happened. He couldn’t win when it mattered. Upsets are fun but when you are outcoached and reach a point you cannot get passed we had reached that moment. All of these other coaches from all of our conference foes from big east or aac have improved/dominated/moved on. We were not getting any better. We should have turned a corner. We didn’t. He is just a familiar face you guys would enjoy and sure does love usf but that isn’t what we need. We need someone to take us to the next level. We haven’t found it yet. If taggart stayed i think we would still be winning 10 games a season and have gotten out of this conference but leavitt is not the answer and wasn’t back then. He was a good coach and took as as far as he could. We were never the 2nd best team in country. Literally everyone else lost week in and week out. We got exposed by schiano that year and every year. I hope they find the best fit but this aint itp

Doesn’t have to take that long. We need big bodies up front. Honesty we can win with 2 star skill players if we only focus on building our defense and keeping our o line big and strong. We will never win until we get on the same playing field as every team we are playing. We are undersized and skill positions you can get away with. i hope they offer coastal carolina’s coach
