    I don't disagree with your logic bourbon, right up to where you say give Willie another year. It's not gonna get better with him. What you've seen from day 1 is the same as what you see today. He learned 1 way to coach, and he seems to lack the mental capacity to either improve upon that, or change it altogether. He's the "try the same thing over and over again, expecting a different result" guy.

    any time you can get a mediocre run blocking WR, you gotta do it. Plus he turned down U of Phoenix, Everest University, and that art school where you draw a turtle to come play for USF.

    Yeah people just need to be more patient with Taggart! I swear, some people just want their team to win games.. in 3 years or less!!!we need to give him time to get his system/guys in, maybe 6-7 years. Then, if everything breaks his way in games, he might be able to give USF one 7-5 season. What more could you ask for people? Plus so far in every game he's coached, USF has finished first or second EVERY time. Think about that all you naysayers!

    He'll throw what Willie considers the kitchen sink at Cuse next game, which means all 3 trick plays Hope knows. I've never wanted USF to lose so bad to get rid of a coach, even with Skip, but here we are.

    If you are saying they were wrong to fire Skip, they weren't. He was bringing in a bunch of 2* white guys that picked USF over Troy, FIU, and Devry. Willie has been slightly better in that regard, but uses the same risk aversion philosophy with even more conservative playcalling. The choice to fire Skip was correct, the half azz coaching hire (and with Woolard, was there any other way?) wasn't.

    It's the same thing I see in Bucs forums, where people are like "well at least we aren't Jacksonville lol" REALLY? You are ok with being the 2nd most pathetic team? When UCF fans used to try and take shots at USF, we could say "4-0" and end any debate.. I'm sure now they can say 'Fiesta Bowl' and shut up most USF fans who have now turned into snippy little haters themselves.

    Right, if we were fortunate enough to have won a BCS bowl and then less than two years later lose to Furman and be 0-4 nobody around here would be caring THAT much .... rollingeyes It would sting far less, I guarantee. Worry about your own pathetic college program. Any sort of "LOLz UCF" is just loser talk.

    If you were a UCF fan, and you won a BCS Bowl game less than 2 years ago, would you care THAT much? USF fans should worry about USF. Not that another team (that again, recently had success USF won't achieve in any of our lifetimes) isn't doing good either.

    Who's available that is better than Taggart? My dog, my buddy from grade school that always seemed to know my play on Tecmo Bowl, the homeless guy by the Fowler Chili's that looks like a vampire, crowd sourcing play calls, a new "tweet your play call" feature for USF students, We knew this season was toast when he didnt just cut losses and fire him last year, when 95% of my former season ticket section told them where to shove their tickets this year, etc. There's no point to this season. It's basically a waste.

    They should probably can him with a game or 2 left in the season for 2 reasons: 1. Just to show what a horrible coach he is. 2. To get out ahead of other schools on the coaching search. No dragging your feet.

    That is not a top 25 team out there, no. But a team that could go 8-4 in a bad conference? They should be. But yeah, there is no Nate Allen, JPP, Selvie, Grothe, etc out there. Whether that is a lack of development from this crap coaching staff, or just a lack of top end talent, I can't say for certain.

    I say fire him too. But Genshaft never cared while Woolard did nothing for over a decade, so unless Harlan gets caught in some scandal, he's safe. Judy worries more about her plastic surgeon than she does the USF AD.

    Man, the tackling there was comical. I can't even blame them. As usual, the defense gets tired since the Tardart led offense goes 3 and out every series. F***K WILLIE TAGGART

    If I'm Memphis, I kneel 3 times and punt every series. There is zero...ZERO change USF scored 7 points on offense if they have to go more than 15 yards

    Other QB's miss throws like that, but they make them too. WIth QF you know it CANT happen, because he's not a QB. Rollout, give up on the play early, throw ball out of bounds, repeat.

    He missed a wide open receiver. If you are the starter at a D-1 school, you have to make that pass. Terri Schiavo could complete more passes than QF.

    No, he's not helping but basically he's a safety playing QB. The problem IS that he's playing QB, not that he is getting bad advice
