  1. Good looking out on the special team's placement @Triple B Notes: Only 1 player has been added and that is the long snapper, Easton Bonnett. 2. I see the thread of bitterness is still going strong. Be happy we got Golesh and lets keep it moving. All this positivity going on, why do we choose to be so bitter and "celebrate" everytime something negative happens in Colorado? That constitutes this as "hating". This is like the UCF thread they have dedicated to hating on USF. Is this a North Florida thing? Anyways, we've already discussed this so hate on my friends.
  3. I updated the list with the latest CB additions and roster removals. Notes: We are down to only 4 more CCS players I counted around 119 players. Only 7 of CJS's 36 total transfers remain. 4. I don't see any teams left on our schedule which is unbeatable. Even winning the AAC looks doable in my eyes. I feel our early losses were just due to this being a new team that pretty much started from scratch. I feel we have found our rhythm. But I don't feel it's going to be a catwalk either.
  5. I said and/or. If we get to 20+ wins and don't win the tourney I feel we still can make it.
  6. We already beat a top-10 team that is STILL ranked. If we beat FAU while they are ranked that will make it two teams. There are already 6 ranked teams with 4 losses. March Madness is comprised of 68 teams. If we win 20 games and/or win the AAC tourney, why is it a long shot? I'm not going to keep going back & 4th. I just simply disagree about the "long shot" part of it. There is nothing wrong with looking at things from the "glass half full" perspective.
  7. It doesn't matter what their SOS is if they keep losing. All we can do is win at least 10 of our last 13 games and/or win the AACe tourney and leave the rest up to fate. I'm not saying it's going to be an easy journey, but I don't agree with the "long shot" sentiment. At least not until we lose a few more games first.
  8. But the teams with the tougher schedule still have to win their games as well. A week ago, 14 of the AP Top 25 teams lost to an unranked opponent. There is a lot of parity this year, so a lot of teams will have losses. I feel we are selling ourselves short saying it's a longshot.
  9. Based off of the records of our remaining opponents, we can win with or w/o winning the AAC tournament. We have 13 games left. Five of those teams currently have losing records and the rest either have the same record or more losses than us. Once again, what makes it a long shot for us to make the tournament? I'm not claiming that we will go to the tournament, but I don't see the "longshotiveness" of it all lol
  10. We were actually ranked in the top 20 in interceptions, but I think our defensive line got like 3-or 4 of them so I can't credit the secondary.
  11. His foot is always so close to the FT line that I swear he is always about to get a violation.
  12. And who says we can't win the AAC tournament? Everybody left on our schedule either has the same record or a losing record. Which goes back to my question....what makes us such a longshot?
  13. We just beat the tenth ranked team and Wichita today. Why is it a longshot to make the big dance?
  14. This was the first MBB game Ive watched this season and hell of a first game to catch. That was the most calm comeback I've ever seen.
  15. You know a recruit I slept on? Stantavius smith. I didn't realize buddy had so many offers. If he can live up to at least half of his offer list, he should pan out pretty well. "....chose USF over offers from Arizona, Arkansas, Florida, Florida State, Georgia, Georgia Tech, Kentucky, LSU, Nebraska, Notre Dame, Ohio State, Penn State, Pittsburgh, South Carolina, Syracuse, Tennessee and Vanderbilt among others." 16. I was referring to the kids transferring in general. A majority simply want to play and not sit the bench. There are others that are willing to sacrifice playing time in order to move up to a higher level of competition. Others may transfer for money. But in the end, players want to play and that will always be the main reason for players to transfer.
  17. It dont matter. He took a chance to test himself against better competition. If he got paid then also good for him. He has another year to make something out of his career while also playing in the SEC. If he is able to make his mark as a 5'8 running back in the SEC, then he has a better or equal chance of making it to the NFL then if stayed in the AAC and running for 1000 yds every year. Either way, he's no longer here so life goes on.
  18. We went from winning 1 game to winning 7 games the next year. If we can improve by 5-6 games, why is it so hard to win 3-4 more games than the year before?
