  1. We don't know why is is not hired. Maybe he turned down offers that we don't know about. Insinuating that there is a negative reason he has not been hired is a bit hating on the man. He has been successful in both of his positions that he coached.
  2. I'm tired of CJS fluff pieces. I'm ready for some action!
  3. Oh lol, they dont have that option. How i first knew about Bo Peek's hometown was just by clicking on his link. Isorted the list by position and simply clicked on each DT (A position of need for our defense.
  4. https://247sports.com/Season/2020-Football/TransferPortal/
  5. His high school film from 2015 is nice. He is a much faster player than i expected. Now the only question is how much has he improved riding the bench at Stanford for 4 years. http://www.hudl.com/v/28SPMD
  6. He never even saw the field at Stanford, but I'm going to chop it up as they just had better players and it wasn't because he sucked lol
  7. Awesome. I had my eye on buddy when I went through the transfer portal. I figured since he was from Tampa he would be down to come home. I think we could use one more DT that weights over 300bs that can stuff the middle. We still lack some true 300Ib DTs.
  8. I had that memory blocked for a while....man that name needs to be banned on this board
  9. Its time for Taggart to pad his wins/losses stats with this team
  10. No, they were 2 AMBITOUS who went for a better opportunity. I'm sure if you found another job that paid twice as much as you make now and offers twice the benefits, you would leave your job so save the hate. They both are older and happy to be employed in Florida. FAU has the strength of schedule to allow them the same opportunities as USF when it comes to making a NY6 bowl game. Taggart needs to sit at FAU and pad his coaching stats.
  11. Man i just looked at Battie's film and wow! Buddy is fast.
  12. Actually Taggart made him an offer. He chose to stay at Oregon instead of go to FSU.
  13. Im not sure what the debate is, but Taggart and Levitt made their "run" at "new opportunites". Im not saying its over for both, but they both have to be EXHAUSTED with moving to different cities for different jobs. FAU gives them both a stable situation that allows both of them to live in Florida. I give both coaches 3-5 years there minimum.
  14. Steve Mcnair (RIP) played QB there and had a wonderful NFL career.
  15. Immediate Eligibility. I mean he is a 1 year rental, but after further review on him, he is a NFL prospect, great stats, has speed, a lot of accolades, and his highlights were pretty nice. He is also from Tampa.
  16. Hope he brings his QB Noah Johnson with him. He is one of the (2)"SWAC Offensive Player of the Year" mentioned in this tweet. You know what's funny? I've watched Pat White play many times and had no idea what he looks like lol This is my first time seeing his face.
  17. His QB Coach Pat White is our new RB coach. Maybe he brings him along. If we are going to have a D2 transfer might as well be one of their best players. I think if he comes along, it will be a 3 way race b/c him, buddy from UNC, and Smith for the starting spot. I see them all beating McCloud. - 2018 SWAC Offensive Player of the Year- 2018 SWAC Championship Offensive MVP- 2018 All-Conference First-Team- One of four finalists for the HBCU Player of the Year Award- One of 25 finalists for the Walter Payton Award (best player in FCS)- One of four finalists for the C Spire Conerly Trophy (best player in the state of Mississippi)- In three seasons, Johnson ranks eighth all-time in school history in touchdown passes (30), ninth in passing yards (4,018) and 10th in rushing yards (1,867).- In 2018, he threw for 2,207 yards and 15 touchdowns, and rushed for 1,080 yards and 11 touchdowns. Johnson ranked third in the nation in rushing yards per carry (7.5) and 16th in completion percentage (.621).- On Oct. 6, 2018, Johnson ran for the longest touchdown in school history with a 92-yarder. It broke De’Lance Turner’s 88-yarder against Miles College set in 2017.- Won the team's Most Improved award in spring 2019. - In 2017, Johnson threw for 782 yards and four touchdowns, and rushed for 333 yards and six touchdowns. Johnson tied the school record for touchdowns in a single game with eight against MVSU in 2016; it tied Steve McNair's eight TD's vs. Chattanooga in 1994. He threw for a career-high 355 yards against Arkansas-Pine Bluff in 2016, and rushed for a career-high 138 yards against Alabama A&M in 2017.- Led the team in scoring in 2016 with 60 points after throwing for 1,116 yards and 11 touchdowns, and rushing for 440 yards and 10 touchdowns.
  18. Yea, we had some young talent at Linebacker, but they are older and more seasoned now. I feel a handfull will get their weight up this summer. But if the transfer wants to come in cool.
  19. My bet is Brant Lawless-Sherrill a 4 star DT (Wishful thinking) and Roscoe Johnson who said he is interested on twitter.
  20. lol Remember, Im a lifelong New Orleans Saints fan. Im grateful for our past b/c I truly appreciate what we have FINALLY accomplished. Our struggles will just make our future accomplishments more awesome.
  21. LOL I'm just saying let's be more kind to our past lol I'm excited about our current staff and ready to move forward.
  22. (1) 10 win season Technically CCS has the best single season record for a coach who completed a full season. His other 2 seasons sucked, but he still holds that record.
  23. I dont get the bitterness towards our previous staffs. They both gave us 10 win seasons and unfortunately didnt work out from either gettin fired or moving on for a better opportunity. I have no issues with CJL, CSH, CWY or CCS. They all are part of our history.
  24. I was going to let this go, but what exactly makes Shaun King A bad coach? He was the AAC top recruiter in 2017 and here is his body of work. Shaun King (2016) QB Coach - Quinton Flowers was the American Athletic Conference Offensive Player of the Year in 2016, rushing for 1,530 yards and 18 touchdowns, while throwing for 2,812 yards and 24 touchdowns with only 7 interceptions. Flowers was second nationally in ESPN's Total QBR statistic in 2016 2017 - Running Back coach - (he almost had (3) 1000 yard rushers AFTER Marlon Mack left and we thought the world would end - Quinton Flowers - 1078 rushing yards Darius Tice - 943 rushing yards D'Ernest Johnson - 796 rushing yards 2018 - 1 Jordan Cronkrite 1121 rushing yards at 6.1 per carry 2 Johnny Ford 787 rushing yards at 6.8 2019 - Offensive line and offense just sucked and we still had 2000 yards rushing as a team. Crokrite was also not healthy. I'm moving on from Shaun King but dont chit on the man b/c you are excited about the new staff. He paid his dues and will get another chance to coach somewhere else.
