  1. It's because coach T keeps going through these useless gimmicks over and over and the fans are becoming complacent with dismal results. The WKU game was an embarrassment and yes Navy kicked our butts. If the on field results actually resulted in something of substance I wouldn't mind. But this cycle is getting old and undeserved. smh at defending no bowl wins. We have to shoot for higher standards. The fans wont come back if this continues.
  2. Your comprehension skills are terrible. I can see you crying on your keyboard every time anyone has any criticism towards the Bulls. You probably throw tantrums over everything in the real world like you do on here.
  3. haha just the opposite. Since Willie T has been here we haven't won a single bowl game in going on 4 years now. But we've seen the work shirts, the #DoSomething handle, and now yet another gimmick that hasn't amounted to squat. WT's big call to USF fame is getting his a$$ handed to him by his old team crap WKU team in a bowl game. Maybe you have accepted these sad results as something to be proud of, but I haven't. I was around when we played in big games and won them. Perhaps you weren't.
  4. I wish we would quit focusing on gimmicks and finally win a d@mn bowl game!
  5. Dude chill out. It's just an article. No need to spaz out and cry on about it.
  6. Are you serious? I love Tampa, but Orlando has more to offer for family fun and entertainment. Way more. Disney, Universal, SeaWorld, etc. For a family visiting on a road trip the "get old quick" doesn't apply.
  7. Can't make it to the game day did we at least sellout our allotment?
  8. This bowl is terrible. Nobody outside of our box would even care to watch. To the average college football fan its two "directional schools" with no history. This is the view. We really needed a P5 in this one. But at least its a bowl game.
  9. You can't deny that we performed very well in the 1st half. My only solid gripe is that our D-line is terrible.
  10. After watching Saturday's game, I came away feeling pretty good about our boys and what the future holds in conference play. Although we have come accustomed to biting it in big games recently, I got this feeling we are on the verge of doing something special. Just wished our traveling fan base gave a **** about the team.
  11. If we could only sell 1,900 to an in-state team like FSU, imagine if it was for a major bowl game cross country like the Fiesta or Rose? UConn would be laughing at us!
  12. The lower bowl won't be sold out. Most of the lower sections have been about 1/3 filled at most in recent years. We need to charge on right out of the gate and make a statement.
  13. Lots of "diehards" have left with our dismal on-the-field performance. It's going to take a deep New Years 6 day run to start to get them to return.
  14. Not good to hear. We have enough issues already. Still not sold on Mack yet. I didn't see much against the opponents with a pulse. Plus with Flowers as the starting QB, my outlook is a solid grim.
  15. You mess with the Bull and you are going to get the horns! #BullsUnite
  16. This is exactly why, even if we put together strong wins/seasons we will never see 65K again at RJS. Much had to do with who we were playing as sad as that is to say.
  17. There are lots of holes in your logic Dan. How anyone can simply discount TV ratings as being considered boggles my mind. You keep reaching for extreme cases and discount the obvious.
  18. But we can speculate with an educational effort, what the Power 5 are looking for when considering expansion: - Are we posting strong TV ratings for a G5?; - Are we selling out or nearly selling out RJS?; - Is an OCS being considered? (Regardless of what Miami does.) Note: The Sundome IMO needs no further revamps. - Do we drive our market with a strong fan base?; - How has our product on the field performed?; - Have we shown we can compete in a P5 league recently?; - Do we have a high student athlete graduation rate?; - To the average college football fan, are we looked at as a winning (solid) program? Championships?; - Are we well connected with any of the P5's?; - Is our admin working behind the scenes?; - I know I will catch some grieve for this but I have to ask. Do we honestly feel we deserve to be in a P5 at this point? I'm am certain these questions are being evaluated, some more then others.
  19. Trip being realistic it doesn't look promising for us at this point. If you step away from the situation and look at it openly, you can't deny UCF is probably ahead of us for expansion. IMO We shouldn't tout our market as SMU and Temple have us beat there too. I don't know what will happen if we get left out this round. We just need more time. Willie has to get these guys winning again soon.
  20. In order are the most appealing schools for the next round of expansion: 1. BYU 2. Cincinnati 3. USF 4. UConn 5. Boise St 5. ucf 6. Houston Note: I'm not picking a suitor conference therefore location is not considered here.
  21. No, not at all. It's a fair question. Besides chatter amongst us, have we really made a push for him to return? It's not a fair question because no one on this board has a clue whether, in reality, there has been a push for him to return ... Yes, it is a fair question. You are simply confused. Just because you are a Mod doesn't mean you can speak for everyone here on what they know. Not everyone skims through google for "insight".
  22. No, not at all. It's a fair question. Besides chatter amongst us, have we really made a push for him to return?
