In the second round, Chase Koepka played very well and shot an even par 72. It still wasn't enough to make the cut, which came at +6.

Rigel Fernandez shot 76 and is T- 38th (+4), heading into the final two rounds.

To make a cut on the European Tour is quite an achievement for any amateur. The other three AMs invited to play in this event finished at: +9, +10 and +16.

So, regardless of how well Rigel does over the weekend, he will certainly improve his World Amateur Golf Ranking (WAGR). After graduating later this spring, he is expected to pursue a professional golfing career.
