What do you tell a kid? "There may be no football while you are attending, we are not sure if we are going to be paying for anyone's tuition, and we are in the Corona capitol of the nation. But, hey, this is where you want to be if there ever is football again." Glad I don't have that job.

Not when it comes to being in the Corona capitol of the nation. Really hadn't thought about that as a recruiting factor but definitely could come into play ....... discreetly or indiscreetly depending on the competing recruiters. Are you refering to Tampa or the USA in general?

Everything and I mean everything is being listed as Covid19 related. Please remove your blinders and yes this will all fade away after November.

If recruiting with "we are one of the reported hotspots in the United States" seems monumentally different to you than my statement then you may be a much better recruiter than I. But, I can’t think like a current 17-19 year old. When I was that age I was indestructible. Regardless of today’s “hotspots” it’s like Visa - everywhere you want to be, unless you want to play CFB in North Dakota. Just read a study on how pro-sports cities are hotbeds for influenza. Most of these “student athletes” just want to play and take that risk too. Anyway, while I know their minds aren’t fully mature, I hope they’re taking the long view on all this.
