Do to a lack of depth. Now we have depth but no fire.

I don’t think we have depth yet...certainly not quality depth. I have always looked at this year as the restock with our big push next season.

The restocking/rebuilding year is a myth. Teams are always changing, You'll never have the same team two years in a row. You play with what you've got.

I totally disagree. What you say may be true for the top teams in the SEC, AAC, etc. but they are the exceptions. There are too many factors to have the high results year after year: recruiting, coaching, player development, etc. if our worst year is 9-3 or 8-4 followed by a year we have a legitimate chance of winning a conference championship I can live with that.

I'm talking about how you play the game. You're either energized and out there to fight or your a bystander. We have seen the bystander winning. Give me the Energized take on all comers. I want that for our team. We need someone to get these kids excited up and into the fight. Apparently we're lacking that at the moment. That's all I'm saying but, you still have to play the guys you've got. So you may as well get them into the game prior to the second half.

This team has taken on it's coach's personality. They play with very little intensity. We never put lesser teams away. It was the same last year and it's the same again this year.

It was the same when Strong was at UofL with Bridgewater.

I can only imagine what the pregame speeches are like.

We've talked about getting back to being the toughest, most violent people out there. Let's be the best version of ourselves and really get back to the culture of how we (USF) used to step across the line and play anybody. Let's hold on to the culture of when they were tough … and they (opponents) knew it was going to be long damn day for themselves.

With the climate going on in NCAA athletics, you’re either moving forward at a hard pace or you’re not. I think what intrigued me the most is they’re very determined to become a big player nationally.
