We encourage all Devil Rays fans and supporters who will be at Tropicana Field on May 28, 2005 to participate.***WE ARE GAUGING INTEREST IN THE FOLLOWING PLAN. PLEASE E-MAIL US AT walkout@oustnaimoli.com TO LET US KNOW IF YOU HAVE INTEREST IN PARTICIPATING IN THIS WALKOUT*** IF WE GET ENOUGH RESPONSES IN THE NEXT FEW DAYS, WE WILL FOLLOW THROUGH WITH THE WALKOUT AND CONTINUE TO PROMOTE IT (POSSIBLY RUNNING ADS, ETC...). WE WILL ANNOUNCE THE FINAL DECISION ON THIS WEBSITE.****The Game: May 28, 2005 vs. the Seattle MarinersThe Time: After the 1st out in the top of the 7th inning. The Plan: Devil Rays fans will collectively stand up, fill the aisles, and walk together into the rotunda, where we will stay (and have a meet-and-greet with other fellow OustNaimoli.com petitioners) until the end of the bottom of the 7th inning. (We would like to coordinate the walkout so that fans will walk together to the aisle at the top of their section and then each section group would walk together along the walkway to one particular section's tunnel - preferably behind home plate - where we will funnel into the rotunda as a group. This would make the greatest impression on the field level. We will have more details on this in the coming days, though). The Setup: I am seeking volunteers to be "Section Representatives" for each section of seats within the stadium. These representatives will be present at the game and will explain our walk-out plans to the unprepared/un-informed fans in their section during the game (and possibly hand out flyers - provided by OustNaimoli.com - outlining our protest).***If you already have tickets (or plan on buying tickets) to the game and know where you will be sitting and would like to be a representative for the section in which you are sitting, please send the following e-mail:Name: E-mail: Section: E-mail to walkout@oustnaimoli.com

mulheap Posted May 23, 2005 Group: Member Topic Count: 38 Content Count: 509 Reputation: 0 Days Won: 0 Joined: 10/02/2002 Share Posted May 23, 2005 It's useless. The team is not getting any better. There is no light at the end of the tunnel. Nobody cares anymore, the fans don't care, the players don't care, Lou doesn't care, the owner certainly doesn't care. Lou should leave the pitchers in to take thier lumps instead of taking them out in the 5th or 6th inning every game, which causes them to quit pitching and look to the bullpen after the 5th inning. All they need is one more bat to score one more run a game, but they are not going to get it.
