No, actually the Yanks are the laughingstock of MLB right now (7-11 and currently in last place) ;D

 

As far as the constant comments on the Rays losing their young talent, please point out one, just one, highly regarded player the Rays have lost because they couldnt sign him.  

They havent had to pay them yet. Give them a few years when they have to pay them and we will see how they do. If Delmon, BJ, Rocco, Dewon, Kaz and the rest of these young guys turn out to be all-star caliber players then they will have a payroll like the red sox to retain them.

I hate the Yanks more then anyone but I dont think they will be in the basement for long. D-rays on the other hand are destined for another last place finish.
