    Just so we're clear my post was pure sarcasm bc it's ridiculous we change our name. I thought this whole thread wasn't serious my bad. Proud as well of my diplomas and love our name as it is a conversation starter for those who don't know about us. We are South Florida

    Gents we are in need of a new name. Let's be honest so I selected other as none of the above work. Year after year I get asked why is it called USF? Isn't South Florida in Miami? I'm tired of it. The only real suggestion is to officially rename ourselves as THE University of South Florida. THE in ALL caps ALL the time. So we're now more of a thing than a place. So naturally we're now TUSF when they abbreviate it, but we'll start another poll to clear that up and work out the kinks.

    No doubt, I really want a regular season conference championship badly but I was mostly just complaining about how outrageous it is that such a huge accomplishment is not rewarded as highly. Trust me this is a big deal for us. This is more than just the 1 seed. This is the culmination of a battle tested team being rewarded by beating the grind. Just keep winning Bulls!!

    Completely agree with you on this. Why even bother to try to win regular season, why not just rest up your primary players for the conference tournament? I know I'm being ridiculous but it's not much more ridiculous than overlooking the grind of placing first place in conference over the course of the entire season.

    This absolutely nails it!! Yes we "happened" to pick the right coaches this time but did we really need to get to this low point in our program? The last 18 months have been out of the park stellar but it's not just coincidence it's mostly due to our aggressiveness to succeed now that we realize we are being left behind. Kind of like when spring break was over and you realized that you had a huge research paper due the next day. Anyone reading that procrastinated piece of literature would say man imagine if they started with this urgency day 1. However, in the end it doesn't matter bc a decent grade was given and no one will remember. We need to hope that our procrastination leads to that same amount of success

    Boom! I was yelling watching those jersey pulls the entire game with no whistle. I know I can be biased at times in favor of our Bulls but they were stretching the heck out of those shirts. So yeah that was a fitting call in the end.

    That is exactly my thinking as well. Also given that it's a noon game it's not too long of a day and get back in time for dinner. Also they are trying wayyyy too hard to be our rival. So there's that too.
