  1. I was there too, saw tons of Bulls fans. Plus we all got to see Wander's last ever game.
  2. You should be able to combine Navy and Wichita and count the combined as 1 member. Then that one share is divided between them.
  3. Thats fine. I was saying if it was us, Notre Dame and UMass, we are like UMass, not Notre Dame. Today, being an independent would be a very hard road to cross. UConn did it to prop up basketball. Unless you are Notre Dame, it is hard to thrive in that situation.
  4. I think we have been told most will be benches, just the club seats. But I don't have a link to share, just my memory. And - dark green seats. Bright seats show bad on tv when empty. Look at the Miami Heat games, they look bad on tv, because the lower seats are bright yellow. (this is the original colors:
  5. Bench seats always helps with that. if you have 4 chairs with 2 fans and 2 empty, it looks 50% full. If you have a section of bench that seats 4 people, and 2 people are on it, and spread out, it looks 75% full. That is why I hate when people compare us to UCF by photos, the rigid structure of individual chairs shows empty seats more than benches.
  6. We are lifetime 5-0 against them, dating back to the inaugural season.
  7. And, look, it's week 8 and we are playing Charleston Southern - but wait didn't we already play them in week 3. Yes we did.
  8. If we were an independent, we would be UMass without their basketball tradition. Our TV partner would be More TV 32, and we would pay them to air the games.
  9. We never played Pitt when they were an ACC team, all the ones John said only counted games when they were ACC, hence 0-1 vs. Louisville.
  10. I would welcome OSU and WSU (without Stanford and Cal) to the AAC* *denotes football only membership.
  11. Coming in for Summer B is not a requirement, but they push for it. I don't think it is a bad sign, but take all the new guys with USF photos as a good sign.
  12. Plus, you get that offer in hand, you go to the ACC, and tell them you are about to sign it unless they want to invite. While that might not work, they might be scared of not having a Florida school.
  13. If you notice, no photo on the roster, so I don't think he ever got here. Meaning if he was taking Summer B, then they would have had a chance to add a photo like most of the other new players.
  14. Arrogant and can back it up, good. Example: 1980's Miami Hurricanes Arrogant and can't back it up, bad. Example: 2020's Miami Hurricanes
  15. Stanford in particular. Standford has won 26 of 29 Learfield Cups as the nations top athletic department (as a result of their fielding so many sports, it is a flawed measurement). I don't know what they do.
  16. I don't know how different (if at all) these will be from what they wear in games, but I can tell you this company is who they buy the game jerseys from.
  17. That is fine, but we might get both. Not sure that league pulls UConn from the Big East/Ind.
  18. So as I was saying: You could make a conference work with 12 schools. 6 west 6 east. Just limit the play between the 2 divisions. Cal Stanford Oregon State WSU SDSU UNLV SMU Memphis UConn (or Temple) USF Tulane ECU (or whoever) Your Olympic teams make 1 trip west, and play 2 of the schools, they host 2 of the schools, when they make their trip east. Then everyone meets in the conference tournaments, which each rotate east and west.

  20. After Colorado, they are at an odd number. If they need to be even, they would add 1 or 3.
  21. I get torn on who to root for too, but I know this. What we don't want is an ACC PAC merger of some sort, because that probably eats up lots of landing spots for us.
  22. Yeah, honestly that makes sense. We don't have enough clout to be the force that makes the ACC payout higher if none leaves. Our opportunity is people leaving and us being the best option to take a departed school's place.
  23. Agree - and it looks like 4 conferences will be the power tier (with more power consolidated in the top 2)
