Hey guys does anyone know if we have a realistic shot of signing any JUCO players, and if so, which ones? I feel if we can pick up three OL and one DL we should be in pretty good shape (not counting Mayes) for the next season.

If there is one thing that I have learned about College football is that it's cyclical. How good is Alabama right now? But, how good was Alabama in the early 2000's? Also, there is one thing you need in college football to be successful... that's a QB. And guess what, people thought it was ok when we had a walk on QB as a starter... that's ABSURD. No it is not Skips fault, but God D***** that SOB couldn't get any skilled position players to come here let alone a QB. Lets b e realistic, we are not left in the dust and we will be ok. We went through a stretch where we hadn't scored an offensive TD for a few games, that is unheard of in college football. Even freaking Kansas could put up points and they are just awful. We will be ok and we will get back to being successful. BTW, whatever that gameday experience that was promoted by ESPN is BS. Programs with tradition have the best gameday experience... something like the Grove at Ole' Miss and when the players walk through the fans. We haven't been a football program for 20 years yet it will take time for us to build our own. Once Willie gets his players on the field I am quite confident that USF will build the tradition and fan base that everyone craves on this forum. Btw, I know kids who couldn't get into community college that got into UCF (joke) but, if you really think they are a better academic institution it cannot be by much. They let anyone into that school and they are so overly populated that half of their classes are offered online. My friend who graduated from UCF did not have one class on campus his senior year because their campus is so over populated that they have to offer all of their classes online to make up for this. Not saying the kid is a cheater, but do you know how easy it is to take test online and to work with other people for those classes? Maybe that could have something to do with their graduated rate? Just speculating! Sorry for ranting, I just think this topic is really dumb and I think USF deserves more credibility and that they haven't fallen off the face of the earth and we will be ok!

Love the optimism, but seriously everyone... This team is bad on offense and that is a polite way of saying it. Pray to God in this upcoming recruiting class that at least 8 TRUE freshman can play. This team is 2 years away from competing at high level at the very least.

The offensive line is so bad that we can not effectively run the ball and our receivers are so bad at running routes and catching the ball that it allows the defense to stack the box against them. Face it, the offense as a cohesive unit is just awful. With poor play from the QB, O-line, and WR's this team will be lucky to ever score an offensive TD for the rest of the year. I mean, we couldn't score on UCONN and did you see what UCF did to them today? This season is a wash, pray that we can recruit some skill players on offense, practically the entire unit could be replaced.

The O-line... they were getting beat left and right today. I know it is very easy to blame the QB's (lets face it, there isn't a D1 caliber QB on our roster) but the 0-line was letting the defenders penetrate the line and was not getting any push. The offense as a whole is just bad. Real bad. Welch, what the @#^%, couldn't catch a ball that could have extended drives as well. Fuark!

I don't know if this is old news or not but Rivals updated their class for 2014 and Holston checked in at #136 for the 150!

Pretty cool to see. I think the coverage that Rivals has offered has been 100x better than it was in years past and the addition of Matt Grothe on their staff gives us fans give a true perspective.

I'm really bummed to not see Rahmon Swain not listed on the 2 deep... I figure he'd take over the middle for DeDe next year. What does everyone think about the back ups on the o-line? Do we have depth there? I think it's great that Senat and Calloway do not have to play right away and could get in a rotation next year with Chandler and Hamilton... scary! With our roster the way it is I think we are reasonably 2 years away of realistically being a top 25 competitive team. Just trying to be a realist!

Following his 247 predictions is pretty crazy, I swear there is a new school listed every day haha. Would love to see him as a Bull!

Aaron Lynch will be tripled team all year. He was the best DE on ND stout D-line 2 years ago as a TRUE freshman. I expect Mims to play well and I cannot wait to have 4 DE's on the field on passing downs. My thoughts Giddens ans Forte on the inside with Mims and Lynch on the outside... With all this I hope DeDe will be able to blitz often from the LB spot and I think he could be a 3rd draft selection if the D-line can help help him out and get some penetration. Just IMO

Kentucky is recruiting well because the school has Mark Stoops as its coach, you know, former FSU Defensive Coordinator. He also took a few of his positional coaches with him so they will be strong recruiters especially is the state of Florida. Nothing to do with pay sites.

How do we stack up after this season? I feel like we have a lot of players graduating... what's everyone's opinion for a depth chart with current players only that are on our roster?

If Trickett transfers and we have any type of running game whatsoever then the Bulls will be in good shape. The development of Price and McFarland is crucial!

If we have a QB who can manage a game and a defense that can create turnovers.
