    Was wondering the exact same thing ... We haven't seen anything yet the schedule has been very easy so far. Jose has the team playing much better then recent years. They normally always beat the teams they should beat, but so far they are destroying them. Good Signs. Go Lady Bulls!!!

    TOTALLY AGREE! Woolard & Genshaft almost seem determined to completely ruin our football program? Anybody with half a brain knows Patrino would get us a conference title in about two years. Why are most Americans so childish about sex? So he had a hooker. Who gives a ****! And then run off and leave us like Arkansas and Atlanta...Im good. So happy the true bull nature is already showing it head....smh. Get ready for a board melt down less then one week into the new staff.

    USF was never hiring Davis or Petrino...why waste time an engery. Sorry but a coach with a ill background will never grace sidelines for USF sport as long as Judy has her way. The way it should be, Taggart will be just fine.

    eh don't really agree with this.If you have a longer fight song, you lower the volume during the kick. V is for after field goals. Many schools around the country have a set up like this. I have yet to notice a missed pat from this. If you sit next to band it hard to hear them when they lower the volume for the PAT.

Someone said we were paying him 1.9 million and I was like Hopefully with only 1.15 mill if we need to bump up the pool to get a solid DC we can afford to.

    Debby Downer strikes again... Smacked in the face by reality, you mean? Your funny. I have lived through more reality than anyone at age should have to. With that being said, anything is possible. The Big 12 would be an awful move for USF but who is to say it won't happen? We all have watched this conference moves. None of them make sense.

    Yet to here anything from a polk country coach. Coach T better call up Lakeland's Coach Castle and quick. The L underachieved by their standards this season, but they had a team much like they did 2003 and he just held it together better. We all know what happened with that young 2003 team the next three years...Save all the wins but, 7 to the University of Florida, 1 to Florida State, and 4 currently playing in the NFL. Lockdown polk and you have a skill position pipeline.

    didn't he say the same thing for Tenn? Move on we can do better anyway. He gained two stars after that E11 camp, then sucked up something nasty his senior year. I am sure their is some pissed off underrated guy who can get the job done and with 100x less pre-madonna drama.

    I don't think so. The guy recruited at Stanford. He realized that he may have to take some non qualies to build western for the future. He won't have to use that tactic here. If he could recruit guys that Stanford's acceptance committee was happy with, he should be more then able to do that here.

    You realize 100% recovery means back to 7-5, 8-4 type seasons...I am pretty sure Taggart can at least be there in two seasons.

    So basically your saying because he is did not lead a "big name" program it is a bad hire. This guy has more local support then just about any coach in the nation. He played ball less then an hour away from here. If he is half the coach of his mentors he will dominate the Big East end of story. He called the plays for Western Kentucky's national championship win. Tthe last big east coach to call plays for his teams National Title win has Notre Dame in the BCS title game...we made the right hire.

    Do some research into Western Kentucky football before he got there. Just so you know this guy was interviewed for the Wisconsin job...USF hired the right guy. Same thing can be said for the Holtz hire when it happened. The difference is this guy will not accept losing like Skip to my Lou.

    Not even close to similar, San Jose State had FBS players. Western Kentuky barely had been in FBS ball and had TWENTY SIX game losing streak. Your all about the stats but at the end of day defense is what we need to improve the most. Taggart has a first class seat, this guy has a seat right above the wing.

    I hand you the keys to Western Kentucky. Please go take this 0-11 football team voted by many to be the worst in FBS, beat an SEC Team, and get us into bowl contention two season in a row. You got three years buddy go get r done. Oh by the, make your sure you pull come four star recruits and steal some from the U as well.

    Haven't seen that. I think we already have him locked up, at least I hope so. As that commercial says just working out the logistics

    Kentucky is in the SEC and Western Kentucky is in the Sunbelt. Enough said, the guys team is a few seasons removed from winning ZERO games. He comes in and turns them into a winner and will out recruit USF for Florida talent if he remains there, heck may already be doing it.

    I don't quite think that's a fair comparison. Yes, Holtz was kind of an upstart, however he had won two titles at C-USA, and he was OC for years before being a head coach. So, I'm a little skeptical on Taggart.. However, a lot of people seem to be really excited about the guy, so I must be missing something! Holtz was demoted by his Father...we all found out why.
