  1. I like QBs of all races. But that's just me. We need a Green QB and a Gold QB back up. Those are USF true colors. Not White http://youtu.be/8X_Ot0k4XJc
  2. I know some that go to the game just so they can sit up top and get a good view of TB. They wont come if we dont have that open they said. You actually know people who buy tickets to USF football games just for the chance to go into RJS and get what amounts to about a 8th floor view?
  3. Definitely. We were spoiled being in the BE before falling to the 6th most relevant conference. Every conference in the morass G-5 losers says it will be #6. Every team in the morass of G-5 losers says it will stand out. Dude, wake up. The B5 took the money and left. AAC > $0 That second number represents how much we'd be getting as an independent.
  4. I saw flowers in practice. I will stick with bench Never seen the guy play, but do you not think it would be better to put an athlete at QB? Steven Bench is a BAD QB. I don't think we can argue that, and I would probably say Flowers, at this point, is a BAD QB. I know Bench is somewhat athletic, but lets be honest, he's not that quick or fast. So, why not put the athlete in the game? also, when did you see him? If it was early in camp, you may not have gotten the most accurate look, because consensus seems he got much better as camp went on. For those of us who actually did see him in camp, the consensus is he needs a lot of time. AGREED! I just dont see him as QB. He will play at another position. USF has tons of talented QBs on radar. Between his definition of "consensus" and your definition of "tons," I think Brad needs to add a dictionary feature.

  6. Under Bench we sometimes find the end zone, sometimes we turn it over. Under White we sometimes find the end zone, we regularly turn it over. Who gives a **** about a few percentage points over two years? If you watched White in game 1 and Bench in game 2, it's a no brainer.
  7. How do you come to this conclusion? White played against WCU and Bench played against Maryland. This yr it's 37% white, 38.9% bench. Both have stunk but at least one was against a lot better team. I don't care whose our QB. Can one please complete 50% I come to this conclusion because White has a higher completion percentage over his career here. by like 15 points too. oh and as bad as he played last week, he was still the higher rated passer over bench this week. I never would have guessed the guy who got all the #1 reps, had the #1 receiver, and played a ****** FCS team would also be rated higher. Bench was used before White last year. got far more reps early. care to explain how he still had a lower completion percentage and lower QB rating over that sample size? Because White was given the starting job halfway through the year and got the benefit of the entire team's progress? Not to mention 90% if White's success came in one game.

  9. Because they don't know how to use computers either? (Zing!)
  10. Probably because we're not big time so our doctors suck.
  11. Disagree completely. Again, the play calling was not the problem in either game this year so far. We have yet to consistently execute on offense. It really is as simple as that. I'm not saying the plays were the problem. I literally mean CALLING plays is a problem for us. You're saying the communication between coach and player? Are the words from coach getting jumbled up and the offense is running plays differently than coaches intend? If that's not what you mean, I'm not sure I'm following you ... I mean the number of times I'm yelling "snap the ******* ball" at the screen.

  13. FCS, FBS, 2013, 2014...there has been one constant through all our games and opponents the past two years, we are awful at the simple act of calling a play. I'm not talking about running a play or poor execution. Actually making the decision and relaying it to the players is a **** show.
  14. I saw flowers in practice. I will stick with bench +a really high number
  15. I like QBs of all races. But that's just me.
  16. Says the guy who had $50 on Texas to beat BYU. yep I was incorrect on that, but Harlan is in his honeymoon period. I think he could turn out to be a great fit. What has he done so far? WTF could you possibly come up with at this point that he hasn't done exceptionally well? 1) Hired COA? Check. 2) Hired Kingston? Nailed it. 3) Isn't Doug? Boom.
  17. Nope. You've got to find it.Hahahahaha. When I posted the link, Marlon Mack was left out of the top 5 leaders on the front page, but #4 when you went to the expanded stats. ESPN...you got caught trying to sneak a dig bye those pesky AAC'ers.
  18. Things like this make me chuckle more than anything else. http://espn.go.com/college-football/statistics http://espn.go.com/college-football/statistics/player/_/stat/rushing/sort/rushingYards/year/2014/group/80
  19. Come on! How can anyone with any intelligence actually say this and believe it? It can get far worse. Why do so many assume Flowers is the answer? As far as him being a run threat, Maryland was stacking the box, if he can't throw, it really reduces his running threat. As has been said MANY times, anyone who watched practice agrees with you. The kid can do a lot of things, throwing better than the #1, #2, and #3 options isn't one of them...right now. No idea how it's going to play out in the long run, but he's not ready today.
  20. There was a time when people said that showed poor leadership from the head coach.
  21. The 30 spot improvement in offense was impressive and I never said it was a fluke. Did you actually read what was being talked about? Someone claimed that Willie Taggart brought offense to WKU. Having the 70th ranked offense in college football is nothing to write home about. Him getting a 30 spot improvement is good, but as was mentioned right after that was Petrino took those players and they were the 30th ranked offense. If you fail to see that scheme was holding them back (at least from a rankings perspective) then you're kidding yourself. So for a fact it wasn't because those players continued to mature? Again this is your confirmation bias coming through. You have an agenda and refuse to consider that Taggart made a similar jump from 2011 to 2012 and that a similar jump could be seen from 2012-2013. Taggart had a 30 spot jump with a young team Petrino came in and made a 40 spot jump with a team of players that were becoming upperclassmen rather than freshmen and sophomores. Petrino showed he could make a jump 10 spots more than taggart and that's it. If Taggart just makes a similar jump as his team matures in 2013 his offense is #40 instead of #30 under Petrino and is that really a big difference? Taggart had already showed he could make a similar jump in production but you refuse to acknowledge that this jump is possible. Nether of you are proving anything..... WKU set 18 new offensive records under Petrino last year. The guy is a POS, but he knows offense. The jury is still out on Taggart. Again prove that Taggart doesn't make a similar jump considering he made that kind of jump his last year at WKU. You're argument is all confirmation bias. Let's also consider that Petrino's offense is much closer to Taggars than Taggart's is to Skip's. You're acting like Petrino came in and ran Chip Kelly's offense with Taggart's players. You have a narrative you want believe and refuse to see any possibilities outside of it. You can play with words and tweak numbers and anything else you want, but please don't tell me you actually believe CWT can even sniff Petrino's jock when it comes to an offense.
  22. Definitely. We were spoiled being in the BE before falling to the 6th most relevant conference.
  23. How'd LA Tech do today Skip? Dropped 48 on a 9 win team from last year...and they weren't even an FCS team.
