  2. Brock is a senior, too. But for some reason, I thought we had one. But I'm sure USF wouldn't offer, if we couldn't give it. Heath is also looking at a JC player as well, so who knows how many others we see. remember scholarships have a way of working themselves out. We could still us another center/PF type. Any JC post players you know about specifically? We definately could use another one.
  3. When was he put on scholarship? I never saw that anywhere.
  4. Pretty sure Heath is on schollie http://www.gousfbulls.com/ViewArticle.dbml?DB_OEM_ID=7700&ATCLID=205741266
  5. I believe Kenyatta jones was our first NFL offensive starter when he played for the Pats.
  6. Yeah I like how 247 has their own rankings and a composite.
  7. 247 has him as the #2 juco DT and #6 overall Juco player. The number #3 ranking is a composite of all the ranking services. http://247sports.com/Player/Jihad-Ward-10118?Institution=25153
  8. Wonder if dre and bo are gonna get any minutes or if the are still considering red shirting them?
  9. I was told by USF Athletics that Coach Heath did not want the video on Bulls Vision for tonight's game. Incidentally, the next three games are all on ESPN3. Not saying you are wrong, but is there some reason that a coach would request to NOT air a game? Seems odd to me. Only reason I can think of would be to not give an opponent tape but given the longer season, that seems like less of an issue for basketball than, say, football. Probably didn't want them to see our new secret weapon, Mclendon ... Got here late do don't know if they tried before but haven't hit a 3 pointer yet ... Yeah we can't hit anything other than a free throw
  10. My biggest surprise would probably be Anthony Collins. When we signed him, I would never have imagined him making such an impact right from the get go.
  11. Alright guys with basketball season right around the corner, let's talk USF bball. 1) Name your all time starting five. 2) Favorite player of all time. 3) Most disappointing player of all time. 4) Favorite USF Bball moment. Mine... 1) pg- chucky, sg- dojo, sf- Bradley, pf- BB, c- gransberry 2) dojo or tron 3) kanimba diarra sp? 4) usf making it to the 3rd round of the ncaa's
  12. We got killed underneath last year so the new guys fill huge positions of need. Its going to be on coach this year IMO, hes got the guys he needs. Two big OOC games at home this year, Ok State (Smart is gone) and Alabama. Conference schedule has changed somewhat but still very tough. The basement is not an option. Smart is still there as well as Nash. It will be a very tough game!
  13. I thought there was already a thread on him but I can't find it. So mods merge it if you want. Recently decommitted from Miami and thought we might be back on him since we were after him before. However it seems we aren't actively recruiting him anymore. http://zagsblog.com/articles/two-schools-stand-out-for-henriquez/#more-102409
  14. GA reporting we just offered him. He is a shooter. Below is a website with a video of him. http://www.verbalcommits.com/players/troy-holston
  15. Translated for Bausfkid Squire Bone: Good sir, how are you? I hope all is well. I write to you to inquire about our mutual friend, Sire Griffin. Duke Bivins: Our good friend Sterling is no longer with us for he has transferred to Louisiana Technical University. Squire Bone: Good heavens! Oh lamentable day. If it is not too bold to ask, what occurred that would cause such a decision? He indubitably does not want to find himself subject to rules regarding intra-division transfers, does he? He assuredly would have to forgo a season of playing handegg! Page KRock: Lords Bone and Bivins, Sire Griffin would not have to forgo a season of play as he will be graduating this summer; he will be immediately available for Louisiana Technical University, pip pip. Duke Bivins: Squire Bone, Sire Griffin expressed that the coaching staff was his reason for making the decision. Haha this made my day
  16. Espn just updated their top 100 bball rankings and there is a kid named Dan Manzi from Tampa Bay Christian Academy. Anybody know if we are actively recruiting him? They say only fgcu has offered. http://espn.go.com/college-sports/basketball/recruiting/player/_/id/183689/dan-manzi
  17. I go to the gator boards frequently and they say they aren't bringing in any more qb's this class. Once Grier gets on campus they will have 5 schollie qb's
