I like making them drive, but if we can't get a half yard, we're sunk. I think Taggart had the best 4th down conversion rate in the NCAA last year. Not loving this at all (understatement).

I don't think so. They are stunting & confusing, and keeping our speed in check. We need to hit a TE & open up the middle, or they will cheat up all day.

I was fine till just now...30 minutes away, and getting nervous. Hoping the 3 hour time difference and 20+ spread doesn't affect them. Just saw Kevin Bronson isn't playing...THAT sucks, because SJSU has a big, experienced line, and we'll need our boys up front.

I predict he becomes USF's all time NFL yardage leader by mid-season (I think Andre Hall has 360 over 2 years). Not a high hurdle, but I'm so glad we have skill players in the NFL now. -

I still get excited thinking of that. I was in the USF section, on that opening drive, thinking "This was too easy; it's gonna be a LOOOONG day!". When Webster scooped at started running, my wife yelled RUN! I screamed...NO ONE'S GONNA CATCH HIM...HE'S A TRACK STAR!! Watching him sprint toward Touchdown Jesus was something I'll never forget, and has to be one of the Top 5 USF plays ever. -
I'd be thrilled if they score 17 or less, but I'm worried this D still has issues, but should at least be better coached this year. I'm sticking w/my prediction that we'll score over 40, maybe 50 (if they play fast like we do, the over may get crushed). So, I'm guessing they score 30 or so, but I hope I'm wrong. Our guys should be jacked up, but I hope they aren't thinking 12-0...as that's a tough run. I hope Strong can truly keep this team focused on smashing the team up next.
