    You are wondering off your original question of what type coach should usf hire that would be successful. I gave you an example, a fired top tier coach. Mike Leach is another example.

    They must have moved on to be ADs at other D1 schools and used that as a reason not to hire him as HC but instead chased Willie Taggart.

    If they do, they should look at the coach at Kennesaw State University. He’s basically the Jim Leavitt of FCS, building a program from nothing, except he actually wins conference championships too.

    I actually am optimistic after this last game.

    I’m looking forward to next season after this last game. This was a great game, the defense was much better and the offense were starting to gel.. I think a bowl game is in our near future. Now Off to watch my daughters playoff game, her school is number four in the FCS.

    I would think the sign of a good boss would be to fire the defensive coordinator well before the last game of the season, as you’ve been giving up 40+ points every game.
