Key to your sacred recruiting is becoming "hip". Not getting a guy who needs a new "hip". Hip is getting someone who kids can relate to a good defense right now. What have you done for me lately. Oh you coached my former teammate at florida. I can call and ask and find out about you.

and then you find out on signing day he went to another school to start. I would tell him its your job to lose. If you come in and get out worked you will lose the job. This will not be easy but my vision for usf football has you bringing us to a new level. A level that will make every kid want to put on a bulls uniform. Do you want to be apart of that vision? If so come be the quaterback of my football team.

kids will say oh you have floridas lb coach? they had a great defense. I respect that. Or oh you used to coach at nc state way back then. I kinda remember that but your at akron now clinging to your coaching career. Im not sold.

It was not just for you. Its for all the people on here, im guessing older, who complain about modern uniforms and the spread offense. We dont want this..we dont want that..How can you knock one of the most accomplished teams. We could only dream to be as talented, as recognized, and get the type of players oregon gets. It is not a bad thing to win 11 games a year. You can come close to a national championship every year. You can then use the resources to finally get to the big one and win. Then you come on here and see the comments people make about not wanting to play that kind of football. ITS WINNING FOOTBALL no matter how you look at it.

There are better ways to play football? It is pretty **** complicated and sophisticated offense. They have a ridiculous offense line and they run and throw the ball as good as anyone. You guys are complete morons with all this talk. It doesnt win championships. Blah Blah Blah. You guys are the first to say defense wins championships but now this offense will never win. How is exactly does that make sense???????? This offense scores anywhere from 30-60 points in a game and it cant win a championship???? How about saying Oregon needs to step up and get better on defense. You guys are something else man. Florida ran a gimmick offense and won a national championship with one of the worst qb's at the next level. It was touted as a gimmick. They also had a ridiculous defense. Auburn then used the same offensive coordinator that florida used and won a national championship with cam newton. They had a good defense. You guys need to get a clue man.

Promise him the job..its yours to lose. It happens all the time. Your not saying he will start on day 1..your saying your the frunt runner for the job..Its fairly common practice..

um..why are we not trying to get in that conference. Its way better than whats going to be left in the big east.

dont sweat it..dont always have to run between the tackles..and he will adapt the offfense. Something tells me this guy knows what he is doing. I said it awhile ago..GOOD head coaches...call and have their hands in one or the other..offense or defense..

like i said they have targeted other backs as higher priority. it does not mean our coaches dont like him they are just going after them first. This kid deserves a shot we all see it.

Plus this is not a kid who gets looked over. He should be getting as much attention as AW. We should throw the kitchen sink at this kid. Promise him the job and get him in here. We need the best qb we can get to be on board right now. He is the next best option IMO.

How could anyone blame him for de-committing. It was the obvious decision as for any of our recruits. They committed to the coach not just to the school so they should all have opened up until they were sure again. AW is no different especially a higher rated player is going to get more calls. Listen..He is not the savior. He could be but he would be a great get. Lets see what happens. I personally am starting to like Akeem from Carol City, I think is his name, we should be going as hard as we are for AW are we are for this kid. He looks far more polished as a pocket passer. Lets not bash the kid though. I once got pulled from a gamefor something my dad said to my coach. I yelled at the coach that I am not responsible for what he does. Sometimes its just out of his control but he 100% right for considering other schools and possibly going elsewhere. Lastly, he needs to choose a better SEC if he wants to go to the NFL?????? That is just flat out wrong..Look at Nassib on Syracuse has turned himself into the 2nd or 3rd best option. He can develop and get picked high from any school he chooses.

i really like durkin..kind of up and comer you take a risk on. He would be great for recruiting and would be doing it not for the money but to make a name for himself. That is really what is important at this point. He would be learning on the curve as well and more money means more responsibility and that all weighs on you. It is a good first spot for DC. He also wouldnt have to move very far. Its very logical. I would be very pleased with the hire.

Were better off joining the MWC..with them anyway. Why stay in the big east. Us and Cinci should join their conference.

Yea I dont think there is one kid who is right..as multiple kids can be good qb's at this level for us. I wouldnt mind hearing about an offer here..Is there even an offer? Are we interested?

Shaw can get 1,000 yards. He has vision, hes shifty, and strong. You do not need to be the typical power back to run in this style of offense. We need shaw on board and starting next year. He is better than anyone were after or have on the team now. I think you will see our running game really improve under a coach who knows what he is doing. You guys wanted it,...Im on the bus..but if were going to run more we better have a 1,000 yard rusher thats all im saying.

I hate to tell you but this kid is **** good. I look at his footwork...he steps into his throws. Moves in the pocket. He does not look to run first. I see alot of positives with this kid and you can clearly tell how big he is. He has a quick release and a very strong arm. I can care less if he punishes himself after a bad throw. Tell me a high school athlete that isnt hard on themselves especially one who wants to play at the next level. This kid has potential and I would have no problem if he was on our roster fighting for the starting position.

No I disagree. I just think he is trying to get the best kids out there that might have a better fit for the school. If it comes time and we have a spot and he has not signed anywhere he will be a bull. This kid has speed that every kid wishes they had. There is no reason this kid doesn't play somewhere and make an impact as a return man or a change of pace back. I would take him in a second. You watched the video. He does not suck. He just is not our top targets.
