  1. Is this kid related at all to the Hester rookie from UMiami for the Chicago Bears that returned several kicks for TDs this season? I just asked around on another forum that I'm on and the response I got was that there was no relation. However, I was watching his recruiting videos, and it looks as if he could be just as shifty and elusive
  2. 1) USF 2) 7 3) Gransberry - 18 4) Gransberry - 11 5) 67%
  3. Does he? A walk on, a man who IS in the dog house and has had problems with drugs, and a one who is comming over a major knee injury. I would LOVE to see Rod Smith line us up in the classic I-Formation and just run the ball between the tackles, especially in the 2nd half when we have leads and the other team is getting worn down. Yeah, I mean, just imagine having 250 lb Kelly leading the way looking to crush defenders, and then when they get to Ford, he's still a big load to bring down. That could be a punishing duo right there, and that's why I would love to see more I-Formation next year if Ford does manage to take over the starting job (which I'm assuming he will).
  4. Did he look good against McNeese? He was only in for 1 play when he tore his ACL. I guess it was over a 5 yard gain on that one play, so he has a good average for his career YPC. I guess I didn't see enough of him to say he looked good. I heard he was pretty electric in practice. Plancher was injured in the first SERIES, not the first CARRY. He had like 5 carries in the first series before tearing his ACL and looked pretty good, but hard to really tell. AWESOME NEWS ABOUT FORD! WELCOME TO THE USF FAMILY, MIKE! Just checked the stat line. 4 carries for 26 yards What, you didn't believe me? Actually, I just watched the replay of that game the other day, specifically to remind me of how Plancher looked. Just curiosity cuz I couldn't recall him getting more than a few carries

  6. I think he was ranked like the #17 runningback in the country. He was also a 5-star on Rivals coming out of high school
  7. Last I saw on ESPN, he was being projected as a late 1st day, early 2nd day pick
  8. Mike, if you're referring to an injury, it was St. Louis that was playing, in effect, on one leg
  9. Do you guys think we'll see a little less of the shotgun next season? I personally feel like Ford would be better suited to get the ball with some steam built up as opposed to taking the handoff from the shotgun formation. As such, I would like to see more singleback sets with Grothe under center, and maybe some I-Formation with Kelly lining up at FB (assuming Kelly doesn't redshirt next season). What do you guys think?
  10. Or just start freakin out like you're ******* insane and try to scare them away
  11. Is it just me or were our guards just not driving at all (little if any) against the 2-3? And why in the hell did it take so long for them to adjust to the full court press?
  12. In the position rankings, they had him as the 8th ranked OLB
  13. But here is the "Expert's Take" on Stephen Nicholas as provided by ESPN Insider:
  14. I guarantee you their team doesn't feel the same way, not after their '05 trip down here.
  15. I think the article Dave just posted on Rivals said he's 6'1" 190. And he said they're looking at him as possibly a WR or DB. Don't know much about him other than that
  16. I'll be at the Auburn and FAU games. If we play UConn during Thanksgiving week, then I will go to that game as well, since I'll likely be in Connecticut for Thanksgiving as I have the last two years
  17. Cuz Lou Holtz is a bigger homer than anybody on television. I still laugh when remembering him saying, prior to the USC/Notre Dame game, that Notre Dame was clearly the better team on the field and on paper. I can't stand Lou Holtz
  18. We used this one: Everyone KnowS the Pirates waNt 2 be us
  19. Haha, hey Mike. Yeah, it'll be an early morning tomorrow
  20. I know there's been a thread or two already about attendance, but I was wondering...what are the numbers looking like for both schools just two days before the game. I was only wondering because I keep seeing ECU kids talking about the stadium will be painted purple, and last I saw, they were only a thousand or two tickets ahead of us in sales.
  21. Our group is in Section 33, row 4, seats 15-26
