  1. FSU vs UF one year too Yeah matching up Miami and FSU in that Orange Bowl was terrible. No one wanted to see it. As for that 1996 FSU-UF game, it was for the NC, so they didn't have much of a choice.
  2. He is right. Most programs do this. Take Miami for example. They used to have the most dominant DLs, and they would always rotate. I was not impressed last game though. They could get no pass rush until the end of the game, and they were getting blown off the line in the run D. Selvie had a great game against FIWho. Doesn't mean much to me. Other than Clebert, they all have a lot to prove in the big games.
  3. No one here seems to understand that PJ has the speed of a fullback...Lining him up at tailback to set up this horrible idea of a trick play would just be dumb.
  4. Are you serious??? Muskets?? God I can't stop laughing. So, please do tell,  what year did they invent the musket and start exporting them to Europe? Um let me see....Perhaps it was the Europeans that introduced the musket it to them...The Seminole Wars didn't occur until the 1800s. Before that they would've used either war hatchet (hence the tomahawk chop tradition) or a war axe
  5. ;D ;D ;D ;D I'm glad wikipedia is your reliable souce of information. Please watch this, just to prove how ridiculous you are for saying that. http://snm.imeem.com/video/4tZCfAR3/stephen_colbert_on_wikipedia/
  6. seminoles were a collection of "runaways," which is what seminole means.  you are telling me no seminole never rode a horse or used a spear? and what is not cool about a flaming spear thrown into the ground to mark your turf as the entire stadium grunts? They were pedestrians who walked around. Spears were used by natives in the Midwest. Seminoles used muskets.
  7. I would have to say the FSU mascot sucks...Due to the fact that it is historically inaccurate. Seminoles weren't equestrians nor did they carry spears.
  8. Not too mention jsut because you are a decent runner at the QB position, it doesn't make you fit to play RB. I don't think he has enough quickness or speed to be a back.
  9. What the heck are you talking about? They gave up one play. Walker was a tough assignment. Big kid, with good wheels and a senior. This kid had offers to play at Miami back when they were good, but wanted to stay close to home in Orlando. Jenkins and Williams had a heck of game. The safeties were caught out of position in the first half b/c UCF had their running game going and had our safeties biting on the play action. After halftime, USF made the right adjustments and things got better. I would be more concerned about our beat up DL, if you want to b!tch about something. usf hasnt played anyone good steve l made some great points usf should have dominated all 3 teams with our corners shutting down opposing wideouts instead usf sweated each game out So it's the defense's fault the offense didn't put points on the board in those games? They have given up ONLY 2 TOUCHDOWNS! What more could you want out of them? If anything, our concern should be our terrible kicking game.
  10. How can Louisville have replaced Miami in the Big East. I think in order to do that they actually have to first win a Big East Championship let alone a National Championship. Could this be the year they do it? Possibly. You're still comparing a team that has yet to win their conference with team that has 5 NC's. I still think the team to beat is West Virginia. Our Bulls will challenge the Cards for sure. We have the defense to do it, and by that time I think our swagger will be incredible. So no. Miami has not been replaced yet, and until a National Championship comes out of the Big East, no one will. Tradition is still rich at the U, and when Coker is gone, the swagger shall return.
  11. Clock management was absolutely terrible. I've never seen so many resetting of the clocks. It just kept making my sunburn worse and worse. But in the end it was a small price to pay.
  12. I am tired of everyone ragging this secondary...They have given up 2 TDs all season. They step up when it matters are able to shut down the opposing teams with some great coverage. Trae Williams has 4 INTs this season, and they are covering well for the line to get in there. Mike Walker is a very good receiver and made some good plays. But whe you hold the opposing QB to 19/43, to me that's pretty **** good. They'll be just fine.
  13. They played it at the game last week against FIU. So hopefully it'll be played for every home game. It always gets me hyped.
  14. Plenty of beer in everyone's system!!!
  15. I absolutely hate the GD wave...but I'll tel you why I particiapate. You never wanna be THAT GUY that everyone looks at for not doing it.
  16. USF players - BIG AND FAST UCF - ... Let's just say it shouldn't hard to distinguish
  17. I agree wholeheartedly...Jackson is another one. Then again if the only 2 plays you run are QB draws and screens, it's kind of hard to make some big plays when you aren't taking shots down field. Offensive play calling needs to step up first/
  18. What uniforms will our beloved Bulls be dawning this Satuday...I hope it's the white on white. One I prefer them to the white on green, and two the coolness factor. Thoughts?
  19. If you are friends with anyone at UCF, they can get you a ticket for $12...Not a bad price at all. Hit up your buddies in O-town and make the trip.
  20. The reason I don't forsee a problem with parking is that during the weekends the campus is a ghost town. Half of the students who live here go home for the weekend. On top of that, the parking garages are plentiful and the Park 'n Ride lots have lots of room. People could also park over at University Mall, and ride on the shuttles over. To me it is necessity for a college to have an OCS. Miami is like the only team with a rich tradition that doesn't have one. I will sign the petition for one now.
  21. Didn't realize LeFors was still on the team...and I didn't realize Miami has the same offensive playbook as USF. :-? Two years agao means nothing this year. It's like how everyone was saying during the Texas-OSU game..."If Vince Young was in this situation..." Well he's not there anymore, so it's a bad argument.
  22. I'm row T. And I'll tell you one thing. For being in the lower level for ONLY $5 I am not complaining, and neither should you. There are plenty who didn't get tickets at all. So I'm counting my blessing that I'm going, and will be with my fellow Bulls. That right there is enough for me. I'll enjoy it just the same 10 rows higher.
