  1. Sun may not rise tomorrow; I agree 100% with Steve.
  2. Nice that Chapman got the final putout to go with her homerun.
  3. Happy Birthday to our Brazilian buddy! ;D
  4. Perfect location. Ft. Myers/Naples area approaching 1 million pop. with no local major sports franchises and a fair drive to major metro areas. Lots of $$$$, too.
  5. Supply and demand. When you sellout the popular games and ticket buyers who would really like to have attended are turned away, then next year they will consider purchasing season tix so as to not get shutout again. An oversupply, as is the case now, allows those on the fence to simply wait until gameday to decide. How many times have you attended an event just because you had paid for the tickets and weren't going to waste them? This is why baseball stadiums built in recnet years have often been smaller than the facility they replaced and why NBA/NHL arenas don't seat 30K.
  6. I must agree with Joe. A 45-50K capacity facility would stimulate season ticket sales. It could be built with the sideline sections only (ala the old Sombrero) and then bowled in later as demand warrents. A ten year buy-a seatback plan would get between the 10s on the home side and between the 30s on the visitor side. This year we'll be lucky to match last year's attendance average. Begin planning in about five years for occupancy in about 10.
  7. Seems about right. Nice for USF to get a positive mention.
  8. Herm, get your tongue out of your check or you may swallow it.
  9. Someone like Leavitt and Eriksen would be best. Winners with ties to the area that won't leave as soon as they're successful here.
  10. .. with some first class facilities. "For USF this is the Bulls' seventh NCAA trip in Eriksen's 10 seasons." From Tampa Trib.
  11. Makes DW's unpleasant task with CEC easier. Won't get much better without facilty improvements.
  12. If KU and UNC beat us, we have even less reason to talk about Texas. And you can be sure that we if beat either or both of them this year, it will be a strong affirmation of USF by having a road win against a BCS foe.
