Because we are big fans, been going to the games with JoeBulls, Reub and other friends since 1997. Personally, i was not anti-mac i was pro usf basketball and still am. it was blatantly obvious mac was not the man for our job. I stated it when the hired him but then again I am pretty gifted. Plus he didnt have much personality, which according to you is the only thing i care about. I am easily influenced now because i am excited to see who we hire and watch him coach and take steps to improve. You have seen usf in the ncaa tourney before I have not. I have been praying to see it since greenburg and have yet to get there. All I want for Christmas is for USF to make the NCAA tournament and one day get a rank. mazel tov - even though im not jewish.

It all depends on the person and what they like to watch. When i was in school i would go to every basketball game because i love college basketball. I'm not a huge college football fan and never was, but i attend most home games and the UCF game, when away. I used to go to USF soccer and lacrosse games all the time as well because I liked the sports. Personally i dont like watching college baseball and never been to a game. Do i hope they do well, YES, but you cant expect people with no interst to go to the games.

He also has the "Cool" factor and lots of swagger. I know bulliever will jump on me for this but like Jim Leyland said it is the most underrated aspect of a coach and a player. The way he carries himself and an inviting smile goes miles in recruiting young kids. Just by looking at Grant you can tell if he came in your living room to recruit you, you may not listen to another coach. his own players said it took one day for them to realize he was the right coach for them. They thought they had it good with Capel now they know they have it great with Grant. I would throw the house at Grant, whatever you want, if we can afford we will do it, if not then we have to look elsewhere. We will see. I know it wasnt asked to me, but i think he did fire him to take pressure off of himself. Thats why i think he is going to surprise us and make a big hire. You dont pay out 400K plus to get rid of a contract unless you have your sights on a big fish. The answer to the 2nd question i think depends on how the coach performs. Its not his fault if he hires someone who is qualified at the time and doesnt come through, IMO.

Why on numerous occasions has kobe Bryant thrown elbows on a defender while in his face on a jumpshot. He says they are inadvertant, but you can tell it is almost like he gets frustrated when someone has their hand in his face and get a piece of his jumpshot. He follows through and almost smacks the defender in the face. he has done antics like this his whole career, like a frustrated child, and has done it twice this year to get suspensions. Once to manu ginobli where he almost broke his nose and one to marko Jaric where he gave him a nice shiner. Is he doing this on purpose? Should he be getting these suspension?

I wouldnt say the Colonial is mediocre at best. Id give them a little more credit than that. But I agree, i dont see why he wouldnt take this oppurtunity in his home state if we threw money at him and used the BE as a selling point. . maybe he can get that guy who got the triple double in the Florida All star game to come here instead of VCU as well. I say we send the Bulliever over to VCU to give Anthony a talking to. Yea, the NFl is usually big on drafting guys who had one huge game in their collegiate career and not much before or after that. The NFL loves players that didnt make the 1st or 2nd All Big East team and wouldnt have made the 3rd or 4th either their junoir year. The NFL loves guys who didnt finish in the top 10 in conference in receptions or receiving yards, while 2 other receivers on his team did in at least one of those categories. The NFL wants the 2nd best reveiver on USF. i dont care if Amari thinks he should be drafted and said he was going to test the waters, there is no way he makes it in the NFL (and im usually favorably biased when it comes to usf players going to the pros), maybe in Europe but not here. I think Huey Whitaker is built for the NFl over Amari. Wouldnt be a HUGE loss to some of us because last year we were expecting a break out season and he was non-existent. alligator arms - when a receiver goes across the middle and shortens his arms to embrace a hit. First off I was called and told Jerry Tarkanian was just hired. I was in a meeting with about 4 people and told them all. Two of us got up (the other 2 surprisingly couldnt give 2 craps about usf basketball) jumped to the internet checked espn.com, gousfbulls.com, foxsports.com si.com and nothing, then I went to the bullspen.com. The only one that had the story was this medium, surprising. I then saw the April Fools line and had to explain to the guys it was a poor attempt of humor. Now these guys are unbiased and have no clue who you guys are and either said nothing, or had some disgusted look on their face and said thats the stupidest thing I have ever heard. True Story. Im just saying, not because i care what thos guys thought or said but maybe you guys arent as cool as you think. Im just saying.
