  1. I say run the ball, let andre and ponton carry the ball at least 35 times. Do some screen plays to build up the QB confidence. This is a very important game for the bulls, no holding back, > >
  2. I agree bring in as many QB prospects as you can, and weed them out later. If they don't workout at QB, let them try another position if they want to. I never seen this kid play, but it sounds like he's a winner. Don't put all the blame on the coaches, because when the kids are wiining everything is fine. You take the good with the bad, and right now its the bad.
  3. why you have a problem with that too. you will be having the same problem, at another time.
  4. I say we should use both freshmen, make them no. 1 and no. 2 and play the better one that week. Everyone say save them for the future, what if they turn out not that good. At least we can use Hill at wr's if needed, because we can be in the same boat in years to come. Play the young kids now, let them take there lumps now not later. ??? ??? ???
  5. I like to drink during the games. No beer on campus stadiums, but besides that, on campus stadium would be nice. :D
  6. OK, Mr. S. bien Iwill give you my 2 cents. Fred Rouse and t Ginn was the two highest rated wr's coming out high school. And Rouse was the number 1 player in the nation and he's at FSU. What! is carlton hill demanding he play this year, I think not. Get your fact straight b4 calling someone doofus!! He's not the only freshman running a 4.4 in the nation. And like I said b4 , he's a real talent, but right now he's 5th best wr's on the team. If don't believe me, watch him practice more than one day, I have. >
  7. carlton hill should have been red shirted, I know he's a very talented player. But he would be much better, learning on the scout team. I'm not sold on PJ passing the 25-30 times a game, there is not going to be that many balls thrown his way. By that time him and grothe will have the offense down pact. Don't waste a year!!!! ???
  8. To be honest, coach levitt has to recruit hard in states where passing QB's breed. I'm referring to places like cali, washington, mid-west schools and some northern high schools. I hope they find someone like Marquel in there own backyard again, but realistic you have to get alot of young arms in here and let them compete. QB position is key to keep a program alive.
  9. You are allowed to land on linemen in college, but he flat out missed that kick. Kicking game will have to improve.
  10. If USF was built on 1 and 2 star players, thats not saying much about UCF recruiting. UCF could not beat those 1 and 2 star players the last 4 or 5 years. So if it take 1 and 2 star player to build a program, I will take it, because they did real good so fast!!! > >
  11. I agree 100%, just because the game was won, you don't go out there to score 100 pts. PJ only threw the ball about 12 times anyway, feed the ball to the rb's. Don't worry bout if PJ goes down, worry bout if andre goes down. ???
  12. I agree also, from watching the other teams play. I feel USF has a shot at every team they play, assuming the offense comes around. If by any chance the coaches, can come up with a game plan, that uses players the right way. Make andre touches the ball aleast 33% of the plays, be it run or pass. And if you going to use 4 and 5 wr's, please send three of them pass 10 yards. But as for the other teams in the big east that I saw, they wasn't that strong. Just go all out every game, and who knows???? ??? ??? ???
  13. And also on a bad note, shurron pierceson and dejuan green were cut. Just a bad day. :-[ :-[
  14. I agree with GarySJ, it would crazy to stop recruiting mid-major talent. Thats whats this program was build with, transfers are great, if they all turn out like kawika. Remember there just so many so-call blue chippers that pan out. Just stick with what was working before, and the Bulls will be alright. ;)
  15. don't give up your dream, just work a lil harder. Someone will give you a fair shot at playing. Keep yor head up.
  16. If those two incidents cause him not to make the team, they was not giving him a serious look anyway. Rube should make the team because he a natural at returning punts and kick-offs. And to be truthful nobody on the bucs did anything outstanding either. ??? ???
  17. there are alot of college teams running the same offence, but they just don't do the no huddle. Utah, texas tech and a few teams usf played in the past. Last year usf should have huddle more, and use more clock when pj was unable to to connect with wr's on a regular basis. : :
  18. What I was saying is, while you on the practice squad you don't get the reps as the other two. Coach Marcum did it as a favor for quel to keep him in shape. As for why Blackwell didn't try any other arena team, I don't know. Maybe he thought he had something better?
  19. Cedric King, did he get dismiss from the team last year. And did Leroy Jr get picked up by any pro team. and also is shurron Pierson still playing in the NFL. and any input on former USF players? ??? ??? ???
  20. Blackwell was on the practice for only five game. They thought that they wouldn't be able to sign the two regular QB's.
  21. Good Drube, he should have made the active roster last year. At least he could have been the kick and punt returner. ;)
