  1. I may have to make the long trek to the bookstore to get some of the Homefield shirts - hopefully they still have some in stock.
  2. That kick return does not get the credit it deserves. Without that, there is no Grothe to Hester.
  3. Sort of mentioned it above, but if he wants to get within 10 miles of the UCF campus after spending a season with USF, then we are not immersing our players in USF culture properly. There should be extreme hatred for all things black and gold being pounded into the heads of every player on the team.
  4. I am not a heifeweizen guy at all, but hey, they were free that night! Thankfully they weren't double IPA's.
  5. If he goes to UCF, then he was never a Bull to begin with
  6. Not sure, but I know where I found about 15 of the Hefe Weizen drafts that night.
  7. Such a great trip. Bullspen gathering at the German restaurant was epic. Not sure how we made it to/through a night game after that and an all-day tailgate. Still can't bring myself to drink Tucher to this day.
  8. Yes, I agree that it's looking like CFB is going going down the path of becoming NFL 2.0. I hate the thought of that, but when players are shopping themselves around for best offers and effectively getting paid to play the game, how much of that passion, rivalry, innocence, etc. that comes through in the product is going to be lost? We shall see. It's probably blasphemous to even speak these words, but there have been times that I really looked back on USF's I-AA days and almost wished to be back there with all of the BS going on in the upper levels.
  9. While I am a USF fan first and foremost, I will watch all college football, regardless of teams, division/etc. I love the passion, the pageantry, bands playing between downs, huge upsets with fans storming the field, etc., whereas for the NFL, I watch pretty much only Bucs games. Only way I can foresee changing my viewing habits is if college starts going the way of the NFL with regards to the above.
  10. Thanks for the recap. Sounds like a no-brainer and that the coaching staff handled the situation appropriately. Moving on.
  11. Right, but I'm guessing it looks a whole lot more difficult than when he originally signed with us.
  12. Gerry is a Junior, right? Everyone is talking about Timmy redshirting for the starting job down the road. Maybe he is seeing the writing on the wall that even after Bohannon leaves, if Brown is looking like the next coming, then he's still going to be the odd man out. Obviously injuries can throw all of that out the window but he may be thinking there is no longer a clear path to being the starter.
  13. "He hasn't won a game in a USF uniform" Not sure that's a stat I'd be throwing out there in Timmy's favor.
  14. When I saw the tube that it was delivered in and the USF logo, I thought maybe they accidentally sent top secret OCS blueprints to my door. Come to think of it, THAT would be a pretty cool way to release the final design of the stadium.
  15. University of Chainlink Fence! How have I not heard this one yet?! Outstanding!!!
  16. Interesting read, thanks for sharing. I think the the thing that stuck out most to me was a ventriloquist act being the star of a radio program.
  17. Pretty sure we're doing Louisville. Definitely be willing to help, but may be a few months before we're 100% committed.
  18. I want to say we were still doing that in the QF / MM era though, weren't we?
  19. I loved the "All I do is Win" era - not a huge fan of that musical genre, but was awesome for the stadium. I guess we need to win for it to really make any sense though.
  20. That's pretty dang cool. I watched a few of this guy's highlight vids. I can envision him and The Mangham dragging defensive players all over the field.
