Yeah, I'm not sure that surprised anyone. However, the way I did may surprise a few people. I voted, Needs Improvement. I believe that he was a great selection to get the program started and endured a lot of change and uncertainty through the years. Many other coaches may not have put up with all of it even though most were for the better. Moving divisions, moving conferences, working out of trailors, etc. So, for all of that I don't think that he's doing an awful job or that he needs to be fired immediately. However, things are now settled and I'm not convinced that he can take this program to the next step. And, it needs to be taken to that next step. Time is the only thing that will answer that question. But, what is not enough time or too much time? This program can't keep sitting back on the, "We've only been a program for 10 years." If he doesn't have the talent to compete then he needs to step-up recruiting. If he does have the talent he needs then he needs to get the best out of them. The remaining stretch of games will say a great deal about where this program is compared to others in the country. [edit] 2. A coach who can barely talk in public.[/edit] What is this all about? When he was interviewed last week at halftime it was like he was afraid of the camera? He barely could talk and sounded kinda dumb in his responses.

Skyline "CincyTucky" Chili blows. However, Little Kings, was the beer of choice while I was in high school in Dayton. They were great for our water skiing excursions. 8oz so you could down them quickly between runs. Nothing like drinking and boat driving while pulling someone around a crowded lake.

Well, that and the fact that if someone were to say something about Kansas sports most people would start talking about basketball before football. KU is not perceived as the school where most HS football players want to end up playing.

Seems getting recruits to USF by the simple factor of the weather should give them a few recruits each year by Northeast & Midwest prospects. "Hey, you want to play where it's rainy, snowy, and gloomy for 5 months of the year, or come play where it's sunny everyday? Bet your parents would love to come down here to watch you as well." Look at Louisville and West Virginia's recruiting base. All over the country. USF's - with the exception of a few - are all from Florida. Well, if that was directed at me...or me as part of the some...I have a great life. I have a good job & salary, great girlfriend, and awesome family. I have a nice hobby that I enjoy, live in a cool house in an awesome neighborhood, and have wonderful pets that we adopted from the Humane Society where we both volunteer. I am very happy with my life. And, I thank God all the time for allowing me to have such a wonderful life. So, sorry doesn't apply to me.

I watched Cincy hang with Ohio State for almost 3 quarters. They aren't as bad as their record indicates. You know, the one thing that I don't think any single one of you get is that I'm NOT rooting against USF...EVER. I WANT them to win. Every game. But, wanting and thinking they will are 2 different things. I want this team to take it up a notch. No team. Sucks. Got a team. Awesome. Division II. Cool. Division I. Better. C-USA. Okay. Big East. Better. Great strides. Why stop there? It seems many of you are just happy being a Division I team that got to join the Big East. Well, I'm not. Don't think smazza is either. Louisville step it up. So did West Virginia. Why is USF letting them lead the way? Louisville was a B-ball school, and no one even cared about their football team for years. Amazing what pizza can do for a team. Well, wasn't wrong about last year's bowl game. Yeah, I know...they went...great...didn't score...whatever. Sorry, I'm just in the frame of mind that just going isn't good enough and getting there is going to be harder this year. This team - strike that - this program has come a long way from zero until now. This year JL doesn't get things done it's time to cut the losses and pick it up a notch. Tough schedule...but, I'll be sure to eat crow and apologize on here if I'm wrong about this season.

How long does this let lesser quality team & coaching ineptness slide? Just wondering as well. Perhaps. But, your sister just calls me, Stud. Cincy is no push-over. They played OSU tough for a half, and they just ran out of steam against a MUCH better opponent. NC is not a instant win because it's on the road. Who the heck knows about UConn at this point. Syracuse should be a win. Hey, I'm not saying I want it to happen just thinking it's going to happen...plus, the post put me over the 400 post count...which, from this point forward will appear on job application in which I may apply.

...at season's end? Just wondering. I've been wrong before in my life, but not too many times, and don't think I'm wrong on that prediction. From 3 - 0 start, to finishing .500 or under. While it may be a Kansas State-like schedule, they aren't beating the crappy teams 42 - 6, 51 - 12, 48 - 3, etc. like Kansas State did when they got that rolling. USF needs to beat teams like Rutgers, UConn, UCF, FIU consistently and without problems BEFORE they will EVER be an elite program. They lose the next few weeks UL, Cincy, Pittsburgh, and especially West Virginia will CRUSH them.
