  1. Looks like in the new layout there are a couple of lakes. How bout those?
  2. Lol! Yep I changed it again for ya and left the only thing there not is funny! Cuz I like it like that! Im just wondering who I am talking to you or Ari! But all good.
  3. Looks good! So I take it the tennis courts are going in middle of the elementary school and the baseball/softball fields?
  4. Ari and Herman kinda remind me of those two old guys from the muppets! I have no idea why but the constant complaining probly is why, only thing there not is funny!
  5. Go to work SOL! Keep up the hard work you put in here and hopefully you will hear your name called on draft day! Go BULLS!
  6. Amazing you get what you want by eddie leaving. And still complain! I along with about everyone else def would be fine with you giving 500 bucks and leaving!
  7. Fsu candidate impresses me because of the recruiting aspects! We need a recruiter and he seems to be at the top of coach/recruiters.
  8. "Our 2 top players have graduated and all we have is question marks from players that have yet to show anything significant or have yet to even step foot on a D1 court." - USF84 I don't know but if I remember weren't Sol and Holmes ? marks going into this season as far as productivity! They turned out alright in a down year. I think Buckley will step up next year from what I saw towards end of season. Verdejo is a scorer pure and simple! Saw him play in HS and in Arizona he didnt get playing time or ball much that first year when he avg 4.8. And yes the Big east is still gonna be tough but alot of big time players left teams this year! We just need one more recruit this summer preferably a Big guy C/PF and we will be vastly improved! The attendance will get better again little by little in my opinion every year no matter what. Based off the competition we play and the way this team is going to turn things around! Do I feel this is a make or break year for Mac of course. But Why Can't I be optimistic about finally having incoming freshman with no question marks about their attitudes and past! Yes, Coach Mac is a great guy! But the reason why most bring that up is because they see what program he is trying to build and the characters of the men who stick with it and are successful. The sad thing is a few on this board and most ppl in the country think 3 to 4 years is the minimum for building a successful program. And I understand why that has become the norm, because everyone does it! And I see all the reasons for it being started by the dark siders on this board. But the fact is it takes longer to do what Mac is trying to do, however I think this is the year it starts. And that is have a respectable program which develops young men/student athletes who personify their great institution in a manner alum's are proud of, and with a winning tradition. We want the winning tradition to come faster than it should at times it seems nowadays. And sorry but I believe it will start this year and continue in the future. Let the examples of coaches who are at big institutions or small ones that build up in 1 or 2 years begin  It still wont change my opinion! 8)
  9. Sophomore Guard Collin Dennis Asks For Release Courtesy: USF Release: 05/26/2006 Courtesy: USF Collin Dennis TAMPA, Fla. – Sophomore Collin Dennis has asked for his release from the University of South Florida men’s basketball program and will not return for the 2006-07 campaign, head coach Robert McCullum announced Friday evening. “We appreciate Collin’s contributions to the program the past two seasons,†McCullum said. “While we are certainly disappointed with his decision, we wish him the best of luck with his future endeavors.†A two-year letterwinner who was entering his junior season this fall, Dennis battled injuries during his tenure in Tampa. He averaged 4.4 points and 1.2 rebounds in 2005-06, but missed 13 games because of an ankle injury. The North Richland Hills, Texas, native contributed 6.6 points and 1.6 rebounds in 27 appearances as a freshman (2004-05). For his career, Dennis averaged 5.8 points, 1.4 rebounds and 1.1 assists while shooting 32.4 percent from the field and 28.9 percent from behind the 3-point line. “I am hoping to move to a program closer to home,†Dennis said. “Hopefully at a school in Texas.†Despite the loss of Dennis, the USF backcourt is expected to be the deepest since the arrival of McCullum in 2003-04. Returnees Chris Capko and Chris Howard, along with newcomers Solomon Bozeman, Dante Curry, Amu Saaka and Jesus Verdejo, give the Bulls a number of possible combinations at the guard positions.
  10. I dont have the link but Collin Dennis asked for his release from Bball! Its on gousfbulls.com!
  11. Oh No We Saaka Again! Had to do it! Great quote from great movie! Good signing Go Bulls! 8)
  12. Hey are team might have the Best group of names in the country! Makes for a lot of interesting student signs if are students show some creativity. We could have a Bulls heaven corner with Jesus and a Prophet (Roodly) not sure if he still with team though. Then you got Bozeman, Dante's Inferno, Mchugh, and now Saaka To Me! Anyways I like all the new recruits now we need to get a C/PF 6'9 plus height with the last schollie! Too bad mayfield went to UAB.
  13. I only hope that someday we can schedule the lousy noles! Canes and Gators have stepped up. Now how about the dyslexic USF give us a game in the future!
  14. Im not disappointed with progress just was unhappy about the overall day yesterday! Tennis did very well this season and I agree matrat bigger and better things to come!
  15. Softball loses to Pitt in Big East tourney. Baseball loses 19 to 0! And tennis loses to the gayturds 4 to 0 in 2nd round of NCAA tourney. Cue the annoying Daniel Powter Song!
  16. Posted by: BULLfreak Posted on: Today at 2:46pm well until we get some winning seasons under us we are going to live off of transfers Yea but these transfers would have 4 YEARS of ELIGIBILITY! Nothing wrong with that.
  17. http://sports.espn.go.com/ncb/news/story?id=2421089 Wonder if we can get any of them? Wasn't mayfield interested in USF at one point!
  18. We were the Runner-up lost 4 matches to 1. Still a good showing in our first Big east tennis tournament! Go BULLS!
  19. As much as I thought Scott did a great job. I hope this opens the door for a former Bull to take the position
  20. Really like the depth of our guards this year if they stay healthy! Howard I still think will be the star out of the group if he can get back on track with health! We really need a big power forward or center now to end the recruiting period. Even if he is just a hard nosed rebounder im cool with that because the scoring is def gonna come from our guards this upcoming season! Go Bulls!
  21. Hey I don't know about everyone around here but if Reggie is looking to get into College Coaching why not bring him back to his Alma Mater with some sort of job on Coach Macs staff! Reggie has already proven he can coach at the HS level and I truly believe he can be a successful college coach someday!
  22. Colleges Ole Miss loss might be basketball team's gain By GREG AUMAN, Times Staff Writer Published April 5, 2006 -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- The basketball coaching change at Mississippi could help the Bulls land a talented recruit in 6-foot-1 point guard Solomon Bozeman of Magnolia, Ark., who will make an official campus visit to USF this weekend. Bozeman signed with Mississippi in November, but when Rod Barnes was fired and replaced by Andy Kennedy , he requested and was granted his release from the Rebels. Bozeman averaged 28.5 points per game as a senior, leading his team to the state championship game. "He's a very heady player who understands the game very well, a point who can really score," said Magnolia coach Chris Meseke . "Whoever gets him will have a good floor general, a real leader." Bozeman's father, Eric , was an assistant at Ole Miss for seven seasons before leaving a year ago to become head coach at Division II Southern Arkansas. USF's director of basketball operations, Scott Thompson , worked four years with the Rebels basketball team in various capacities, giving the Bulls staff a personal tie to the Bozeman family. The Bulls already have a freshman at point guard in Chris Howard (who took a medical redshirt last season) but Bozeman could contribute at both guard positions. He hit 40 percent of his 3-point attempts and 91 percent of his free throws as a senior. USF has two scholarships available for the spring signing period, with the other likely going to a frontline player. SOFTBALL: Three weeks ago, Ken Eriksen 's team was 16-14, looking little like a squad picked to finish third in their first season in the Big East. Since then, USF is 16-4, including four conference wins over the weekend in sweeps of Seton Hall and St. John's as league play started. A year after going 42-28 and making the NCAA field for the third year in a row, the Bulls are poised to make a deeper run. The Bulls (32-18) have found their bats, raising their team average to .285, third-best in the conference, and sophomore Bree Spence and freshman Cristi Ecks continue to dominate on the mound. "There was an epiphany of what team play is supposed to be about," Eriksen said. "It starts with the consistency of our two starters. Those two kids have kept us in a lot of games." Spence hasn't allowed an earned run in 21.1 innings, and Sunday she pitched all but one out in a 2-0 win against St. John's, then came back a few hours later to pitch four innings of one-hit shutout ball in an 11-inning win. Spence (1.29) and Ecks (1.06) have two of the Big East's four lowest ERAs. MAYBE NOT: Less than a week after USF announced men's basketball assistant Julius Allen was leaving the Bulls' staff to "move closer to his native New York area," he reportedly has impacted another Big East program. Manhattan coach Bobby Gonzalez , a finalist for Seton Hall's vacancy, had "all but locked up" the Pirates job Saturday, according to the New York Daily News . But Gonzalez wanted Allen to be on his staff, and athletic director Joe Quinlan disagreed enough that he brought in Ohio's Tim O'Shea for a second interview, according to the newspaper. Allen's ties to New York were supposed to help the Bulls recruit in the Big East, but his preferences never seemed to mesh with coach Robert McCullum 's. Allen's only contribution was guard David Sills , who was dismissed before playing a single game. THIS AND THAT: USF's men's soccer team closes its spring exhibition season at 8 p.m. on April 15 against national powerhouse North Carolina at the Countryside Complex in Clearwater. Alas, that's the same time as USF's spring football game. USF's women play in the same tournament against Baylor at 6 p.m. on April 14. ... Technically, both of USF's new football assistants got raises to join the Bulls. Defensive line coach Bernard Clark , who made $62,000 last year as Florida International's defensive coordinator, will make $70,000, as will defensive secondary coach Troy Douglas , who would have made $56,500 as running backs coach at North Texas. Of course, last year as defensive backs coach at Indiana, Douglas made $120,000, more than any of USF's assistants last season. ... Former USF point guard Reggie Kohn , who has taken Lake Howell High to the state semifinals in all three of his seasons as head coach, is considering moving to the college coaching ranks. If Kohn, 26, is to join a major program, it would likely be as a director of basketball operations. "I want to see what my options are," Kohn said. "I have a good thing here, but I can always go back to high school." http://www.sptimes.com/2006/04/05/Sports/Ole_Miss_loss_might_b.shtml
  23. Assistant Coach Julius Allen Decides To Leave Program TAMPA, Fla. – University of South Florida assistant men’s basketball coach Julius Allen has decided to leave the program in order to move closer to his native New York area, head coach Robert McCullum announced. “I truly enjoyed my time at USF,†Allen said. “I worked with some great people and I really believe the program is going to develop into one of the best in the BIG EAST.†Allen spent each of the last two seasons with the Bulls after working for one year (2003-04) at Howard University in Washington, D.C. A native of the Bronx, N.Y., Allen played one season at Oregon State (1978-79) and Southern Nazarene (1980-81) after a stop at the junior college ranks. “We certainly respect Julius’ desire to move closer to home,†McCullum said. “We appreciate his contributions to the program and wish him the best of luck in the future.â€Â
  24. if you want gator news go back to UF showing the score is enough why do we need to put articles up about them! What a Croc! Go BULLS!
  25. I think the most surprising thing besides firing of Seton Hall coach is that Dixon would leave Pitt for Arizona State! Its gotta be the money!
