We couldn't draw 40,000 on a Saturday night against #9 and conference opponent UL. "Homecoming" means maybe an additional 1,000 people over what we would normally draw for a decent opponent at noon. Crap, I was bringing some friends that would have been to their first game but now noon has lost the 4 of them as they have to coach/attend noon soccer games.

I'm about 110% sure they will return, but I'm also about 110% sure Leavitt wont announce that they are playing.  He'll say and I quote "It'll be a game time decision." and somthing like they may not be ready, but they will play. I agree Bm3. I think CJL will say what you indicated, but I bet he won't put them in until the second half just to teach a little bit more of a lesson. Besides, they just need some playing time this week to get back into it. We really don't need them for the W at UNC. -
Per Sagarin, USF should be -6.5 at UNC. I think the line will open much higher than that. I would guess it will open at Bulls -10. You gamers have any thoughts?

Are they definitely back next week? I know they COULD return next week per the policiy, but USF has been pretty quiet on any announcement. -

Lots of missed tackles tonight on both special teams and the D. We REALLY bent, but fortunately did not break. -
There's just a confidence there when we get the ball that we will be able to move it down the field. 6 for 6 in the red zone is great. I did not feel that way the last 2 years.

There was no energy anywhere. When we scored to go up 21-9 it was eerily quiet - the usual high fives around me were non existent and people stayed glued to their seats. Very strange - can't put my finger on it - last Friday was SO different.

I think we have a real problem with the stadium being so far from campus. Gameday could be taking a risk that no one shows up at RayJay at 9:30am if it is a night game. Maybe it would be smarter to do it in front of the athletic facility.

They're probably as close as they're gonna get today for a few years.

I'm really expecting a blow out tomorrow night from the get go. I don't think this game will be close at all after the Bulls jump out quickly with a big lead.
