6 felony counts will carry some time. If it was 1-2 counts, then I'd say community service. But 6 counts is pretty steep. I saw many guys in prison who had a lesser charge and was serving some time. (by the way, I was a volunteer chaplain, not an inmate, just to clarify). I just hope he can get his head on. Reaper

I remember when they came into the library when i was working there. These girls were Be-atches!!! lemme tell ya! They were unfriendly, uncooperative and rude. They wanted us to close the library when they shot the scenes. We said no way. The blond one especially was obnoxious. At least we go some props! Reaper

I personally agree with Sherrif. Play these guys in and out. Just to show who is dominant. AND Orlando is right. It is like another home game. Only one thing Orlando. E.T. you hit it on the head. Last year, the UCF animals trashed our lots, started fights, and were the most drunken and obnoxious craetures of ilk I have ever seen congregated in one spot. As we were walking to the stadium, we were pelted by beer cans thrown at us and one of which almost hit my 3 year old granddaughter. I had to be restrained by some of my friends before I tore this punk a new one. They even were chastised by some other UCF fans for doing this. UCF fans, the students that is, are nothing but animals let out of the zoo. Give them a beer and they think they are king kong. Crap like that doesn't deserve a rematch. I agree with lotsabull. TSA will find every excuse to squash this. Heck, if they hold us hostage for putting our name and logo on the field, what are they going to say about a bull. You just watch. I want to see the real deal happen, but knowing TSA and especially those misers the Glasers who "seem" to control a "Community" stadium, they will try to stop this. If they do, any respectable Bulls fan who has seasoners with the Bucs should return them back to the Bucs office, encased with a pile of Rockey's best!!! Reaper

Bien. Yes you are right. He will have to suffer more. And I bullieve CJL will handle it appropriately. My point which you are missing is that WE as ADULTS have failed the system to these kids. Maybe he has heard enough. maybe he didn't hear enough. He doesn't have to appologize to me, but to himself. I have seen too many kids in prison, heard the same stories, only to deduce that you and I as adults (used hypothetically of course), have failed these kids. If we do not enforce the rules, over and over to these kids, how will they know them. Whether he likes it or not, he is a role model, a leader being on this or any other team. What does he say to a kid when the kid asks why are you not playing? If we don't enforce the rules, whether it will be society or team, (by the way, what the heck is the difference?) will he answer, I don't know why, or I broke the rules. We all make mistakes in life. It is those that we learn from that makes us stronger. Evidently he did not learn from the first time. Again, I do not judge. Where you pulled that out of is left field. My concern is following rules. If we don't, we all are in chaos.

Joe you are right, I am Naive. BUT my point was why are we letting, excepting, and saying 'well all of them do this." When was it we stopped saying this wrong. I am sorry, but when it comes to athletics, I am a purist. Sure, I used numbing drugs shot into my knee to play baseball, but it was from a Doctor. Sure we drank a beer or three after a game, but it was legal. Pot, even though I feel reformation is needed, is still illegal. Rules are rules, meant to be inforced and kept. You break the rules, you pay the piper. Naive, yes maybe, super moral..can't quite say, follower of rules...you betcha! Hill probably is a great kid. It just seems to me, if I personally were in a fight to be the #1 QB on a major d1 school, and able to accomplish so much of the future ahead, I sure as heck would not be jeopardizing it all for one nights high. And if this is a perennial event with him, I sure do not think his mind will be able to function quick enough to play d1 football. This is something, someone needs to put in this kids head. Maybe this is why he had fumbleitis last year. Remember, ya gotta wanna. Who knows. I just hope he gets some guidance, and we as fans and mentors of those in the future have a sense of right vs. wrong. Reaper

There once was a day when athletes tried to get into shape and wanted to become the best player and representative they could be. That meant no smoking or drinking, or getting into compromising situations. I am sorry, but if someone who will be in the upper spotlight representing our school is breaking the law in ANY way, I do not want him to be a part of the team. There will be plenty of time in his life to thug it out and enjoy the party life. And SRQ and everyone else, there is only one RACE...the Human Race!!! Race or geographical area upbringing has nothing to do with this. If this player did not think smoking weed wasn't an illegal thing to do and his actions if caught was going to be minor, he is less intelligent than we all think and does not deserve to go to college. It's like the morons we deal with at the USF library. When it's closing time, and the front door is locked, they come walking right through the exit door thinking they are above the rules. End result, we have to reprimand then. Simple truth...break the rules...pay the penalty. Yhat is what has happened here.   Reaper
