Was wondering if anyone else that was going to the Alumni Tailgate also saw that there is not going to be any beer or wine served.
I was told that Chapel Hill is a dry county and that all tailgates there are dry.
Does anyone know if this is true? What exactly does this mean? We can't even bring our own?
:wtf :wtf

Fri. night games are tough, you figure a lot of people including myself don't get out of work untill 5 maybe even later, by the time they come home change, eat, ext. they are just pulling up at game time. I know I will be forced into taking a half day so I can get my tail gate on.
Remember the game is at 8pm not 7!

Yes. The Alumni tailgate will be hosted there!

ok now that we know he is practicing
what about leavitt's doghouse? ponton still may not see field
you are telling me ponton was practicing last 2 weeks?
i would have had given othe rbs that were playing more reps even thou it was on scout team.
Here is a quote from Greg's blog. As you can see, he has been practicing!
And just to update, running back Moise Plancher will miss the rest of the 2006 season with a torn ACL in his right knee. Leaves the Bulls with nothing but true freshmen and walk-ons until Ricky Ponton finds his way back to the eligible-to-play list. Don't expect that Saturday -- he was busy on Tuesday wearing a No. 3 jersey as part of the scout team, simulating Florida International running back A'mod Ned, who once was interested in playing at USF while at Miami Northeast. I don't think the Bulls ever offered him -- his media guide lists him as choosing FIU over FAU, Troy and Utah.

if in isnt practicing it wont be this week
I have read he has been practicing everyday. And even was the scout team running back.

It is called  M O T I V A T I O N
these guys have to be red shirted because of something we the fans arent privy to
it has nothing to do with motivation i assure you but keep guessing
you are bound to get it sooner or later
watson was considered a top Olineman
Dude you are clueless. Do you really think Coach is trying to keep the fans guessing! He is just trying to take care of matters in house. Which is how any sports team should be handled!!!!!!!!!!!!
What happens within the team stays within the team! If it is something serious, it will eventually come out publically.
Just cool your jets and wait for the season to start to find out who is going to start @ QB, If Watson redshirts, etc, etc.! What does it really matter if we find out 7 days sooner.
Enough of this Leavitt trying to cover stuff up crap!
Move on!

Guys I strongly suggest against sitting in the endzone unless it is in the temporary seating on the lakeside of the stadium.  The UCF student section sits caddy cornered to the end zone and spills into the endzone.  I know you guys aren't sissies, and I know that college students from both of our schools should be mature.  But let's face it, there will be booze and taunting.  Generally, the visiting section is on the northwest side.  I believe there are cheap seats in that section as well.  Has the USF SG worked with the UCF SG and SID regarding this?
It's only students that will be sitting there! Let them battle it out!

We don't care about Rutgers like you do. Thanks but no thanks. Can't you tell by the lack of responses on this thread that you are wasting your time. Please save us some space!

waste of a scholly
hope he is connected to the company that made a trillion in iraq
Waste of a scholly? What an idiot!
There are 85 scholly players on a team. Only 22 get to play. The guy was a senior and knew he had no chance to play with how well we have been recruiting over the last few years at WR. Why don't you praise Leavitt for recruiting such good WR's that now this guy has no chance to see the field.
Nevermind! I forgot who I was talking about.

Has anyone heard or seen anything on the new uniforms?
We should see today at media day!

I am wanting to get tickets for the USF-UCF game but I don't want to sit with a bunch of Golden Knights.  Does anyone have the ticket info for that game?
Call 1-800-Go-Bulls and they will put you with all the Bulls fans!

We sent two people over there today to meet with the TD Waterhouse Center and it sounds like they will be able to handle it.  It sounds like this is a normal set up for them, not just for our game.  So I don't think that will be an issue.
Eric
Thanks Eric! You da man!

A couple of things.  Those that take the bus over from Tampa will have transportation from the tailgate to the stadium on the same bus they came over for.  Everyone else, if you park at the TD Waterhouse Center, there is a $5 charge to park there but that includes a city operated shuttle that will take you to and from the game.  A pretty nice deal if you ask me.
On the Lakeland issue, I'll bring that up this week and see if there is a place to do this at.  Perhaps if there is enough interest we can just do a separate bus but as of now there is no plans.  Call me if you'd like to help organize this with us (813) 974-3481.
Eric
Eric,
Do you feel pretty confident that the city shuttle will have capacity and frequency to handle taking everyone over to the stadium from the tailgate?

That group that won the Tampa Palms ATH looks like a bunch of cheaters!  Just Kidding Big Hairy!  ;D
The only thing we cheated in, was taking too many beers from the beverage girl!!

I added them to the host but don't know how to get them to here.  By the way, your bags are in.  I'll be getting them to you in early July.
Eric
Awesome! Can't wait to sport the new bag to all my homo Gator buddies!!!

Thanks Apis.  No idea how to do that.  Hope to see all of you on Thursday.

Yes we will have 14 at the Alumni Tailgate. Not very happy about the no beer being served but we will be bringing many of the mini-alcohol bottles to spice up our soda's!
