I attended all but the Memphis and Pitt games this season for football.  I attended almost half of the home basketball games last season and all but one football game last season.  I am not putting this school down, but all I was trying to say is that for many students, USF comes second because we are not winning and we play in a weak conference be it either C-USA or the Big East.  If USF were in the ACC or SEC, then things would be different.  If some of the football players were not punks around campus, then things would change.  I like many see no more excitment in playing the likes of Rutgers or UConn then playing Memphis or Southern Miss, actually the Memphis or Southern Miss games seem to have a better connection than those northern schools.  I understand that we are building a tradition, but I did not decide to attend USF based on its athletics like many other students, but I decided to attend USF to obtain a good education.  I support the Bulls, but I cannot help it, I still will be a FSU fan.  It is in my blood, I am sorry that I can't please you guys, but that is my take on it. ÂÂ
Student, are you fricking kidding me about the teams we play is the reason you can't get excited about the games.
Who in the heck until the last 2 years have FSU been playing in the ACC? When FSU went into the ACC they won every single game! Nice competition! That didn't stop you from going to their games. Don't give me that bull!
Just admit you are a little front running FSU wantabe!

Student!
Wake up! We are closer to the level of the big 3 than you think! It is that mentality in this city that is not allowing us to be even with them. Go to FSU if you really feel this way!
100% Bulls or not at all!!!!!

7:30!
Last time to tailgate with the Bulls for 9 months!

I totally agree, especially with #2 - As bad as PJ and Banks have been, why not try Gachette.  I kept watching the game Friday after all hope was lost, to see if Gachette would play.  I think he should have tried the kid out.  I like the way he throws the ball.
Bulls 1, Where have you seen Gachette throw? I am just real curious why some of you think this kid could be our savior! Do you really think he would be on the bench if he had any chance of making us better?
Has anybody out there actually seen him in action? Please tell us what type of QB he is! If he has any ability, why waste a year of eligibility?

I will give you guys credit on getting better this year but
how can you say you are 95% better than the rest of the teams out there. Who have you beaten to back that up?
Almost against UM doesn't count. Ask the Yankees!
-
Key word is almost!
You almost beat us last year!
-
Same thing that was suppose to happen last year, right!

Yes are offense did enough to win! 35 points and over 400 yds of offense should be good enough with a decent defense. Our defense just did not support our lead in the 2nd half. Bottom Line!!!!!
The offense should not be expected to score every drive!

We have no idea! Our alumni association does not give us a count. I assume around 700-800. Just a guess. We took about 1200 to Alabama last year.

If the game was to be moved from Sat, I think Monday would be much better for local attendance. Granted people traveling in for the game would be more affected if the game were to be on Monday, but the attendance from the local community would be much better if the game were moved to Monday. This allows people who are going to the beach or out of town, time to get back and still enjoy a great game on Labor Day!
Many people would skip the game in favor of a family vacation if the game was going to be played on Sat. or Sun.

I think it will be the opposite.  Folks will go out of town or to the beach for the weekend.  Drive home early Monday and be tired.  Instead of considering walking up & buying a ticket & sitting in the 4 pm heat, they'll just stay home in the A/C, save the money and watch the games on ESPN.  I know at my age, by the end of any 3 day weekend I need to chill out and recover for work on Monday or Tuesday. ÂÂ
I believe I have presidence here too.  It's happened in the past.  The rule of thumb is if you can watch the Bulls on the tube, why spend the money.  You must consider most posting here are die-hards.  Getting that extra 5K in attendance comes from the curious, casual fan.  Heck, there may have been holiday weekend issues on Saturday nite.  Just look at the Green n Gold game over the Easter weekend.
These people that will be too tired would have never come in the first place on Sat.
If they do go home and watch it on TV, then they will see the excitement and come to the next game!

Why is moving game such a bad idea? It is 5 months away! This will actually help attendance in my opinion. Most people go out of town or to the beach for Labor Day! Many people would not have been in town or would not have driven back from beach on Sat. Now people who were going out of town or to beach can come back on Monday and still make game.
I see this as a plus!

Our colors are Green & Gold. That is the reasoning behind the Gold horns!
