  1. You joke, but Clemson is traditionally a very good baseball program. Volleyball? I have no idea.
  2. I'm a big fan of Loon. I learned to ski on Cranmore (icy conditions).
  3. He's getting some credit for helping bring in Fortin. The others? I haven't heard yet.
  4. This is exactly why the 4, "best" teams in the playoffs is a joke. If your conference has depth, your champion has a shot of one or two losses. While Clemson proved they belong in the semis, the rest of the ACC is weak. The Big 10 has a perceived strength, but I don't really see it. That's why there should be an 8-team playoff with the 5 P5 conference champs, the highest rated G5 champs, and 2 at-large teams.
  5. I don't think we're in any position to turn down anyone really. Give him a legit shot to win the QB position. If he gets it, great, if not he can either be a backup or change positions. The same is true for all of our QBs.
  6. I locked the post as soon as I created it. i just wanted to steer people over here in case they missed it otherwise.
  7. I'm not sure how many times this needs to be repeated. The staff isn't complete because CJS is at Clemson. It's not complete because the few position coaches left are probably still coaching for bowl games/CFP. All the main guys are hired. HC, OC, DC, S&C, QBs, ST, etc. You're worried about an RB and DB coaches?
  8. We go 4 to 5 years during EPCOT Food and Wine alone and probably another 4 to 5 times throughout the rest of the year.
  9. I get that, but KY basketball has been a power for decades. Clemson, when CJS got there, was a middle-of-the-road ACC team. While, it's not like they took Duke or Wake Forest to the level that Clemson is now, it's not the same as being a recruiter for KY or Duke basketball.
  10. A lot is going to depend on QB play and if the problems with the o-line were talent or scheme issues and can they be fixed.
  11. As someone said before, it's the recruiting dead period. He, and the coaches that he has added can call or text recruits from here or up in Clemson. Visits aren't allowed anyway. He's added coaches during this time up in Clemson and I suspect he's waiting for bowl games, CFP to end before adding the rest. So, he can literally do everything that he is allowed to do as our head coach from up there. Yes, you're worried about a, "little thing."
