  1. Bry: I'm thinking about going over to South Bend (about 3 hours drive) to see the ND series but I think it is the same weekend as the Final Four, so I may not see much of the Sat. night game. I hope some other midwest Bulls get out to see the Basebulls on the road. Normal

  3. So I take it one cannot buy authentic USF baseball jerseys and hats. :-[ Normal
  4. Brad: You wanted to hear about the Radenko story and my involvement in it.....well Tony wrote an entire chapter about that so be sure to read up. Normal
  5. Can anyone buy a jersey? What about hats like the baseball team wears? Normal
  6. Good! They can slink away with brown poopie stains in their pants. Did you tell them we would be coming for them soon High PointEI? I suppose we'll be hearing about posts on their boards accusing us of recruiting Prop 48 baseball players or something stupid like that. ;D Normal
  7. Gosh, I thought this thread was about USF basketball recruiting, but the term 'hijack' once again comes to mind. : Normal
  8. I sure don't like Rutgers, an important conference game, only five days after UCF. That is not cool, especially since Rut is an away game and we play on nat'l TV. If they have a Thursday night crowd like this year's against the 'Ville, we will be in serious trouble. Especially with the short preparation time. That is a major trap game in my mind. Normal
  9. This will be an important game. We need to knock Rutgers down a notch or two so that the media, fans, recruits, etc. think of Louisville, WV and USF when they think of BE football, not those other two and Rut. Normal
  10. Chicago would be great. We might even get ChiTown to go. Normal
  11. Eric: Once again I don't see Normal, IL on the schedule. > Sounds like things are shaping up great. Normal
  12. I guess what velcro and I would debate is the term 'OUR standards' and whether they are high enough or not.  Also, what constitutes the standard.  Is it UF's recruiting?  You say no in your first post.  If not that then what is it?  I tried in my post to bring in relevant measuring sticks (who else was recruiting our commits and in some cases continue to try to pry from us) and comments about their videos.  Those are relevant tools to evaluate our class.  Others mentioned the work that our staff has done finding 'hidden' gems like Selvie, but apparently none of this meets your standard.  So what would it take to satisfy you ProfessaBull?  Who are we missing that you think we should be able to sign?  Instead of making vague references to some perceived recruiting deficiency, be specific so we can discuss it in a reasonable manner. There are way too many posters in this forum that allude to some doomsday forecast and want to know what can be done about it without pinpointing the problem. Help us see what you are having a problem with. Normal
  13. Our recruiting has been awesome this year.  We have signed and in camp a 5 star RB which was our biggest area of need.  We have an incredible athlete commited at the QB position even though we have a clear starter for the next three years.  We have a game breaking LB committed that Auburn wanted badly (Sutton).  We have another LB that has three years of eligibility that has been committed to us for two years who would be recruited by big BCS schools but wants to play for USF (Spires).  We have a couple other RBs/aths that big time schools coveted yet have committed to us even though we have the 5 star guy in the fold (Butler, Bellamy).  We have a DT that Clemson wanted in a big way (McClain) and some very workable OL commits, including one I think will be a huge talent given time (McCoy).  We have one of the best FBs I've seen on tape committed even though FSU wants him (Kelly).  We have a DB recruit that Illinois, NC State, WV and Pitt wanted (Sinclair).  I guess I am not seeing where there is any room for gloom and doom, especially considering that all these guys were basically committed to our program BEFORE Christmas. We should be shouting from the rooftops.  We have made unbelievable strides this year.  Forget the stars, look at who wanted these guys and look at their vids.  This will be a huge impact class. 14. If we're talking about non-BCS experience assistants then you should include Ryan Hearn for the WR spot. He is currently the TE coach and recruiting coordinator at The Citadel. It's good to see ex-Bulls gaining coaching experience. Normal
  15. Spiro: If you sleep in your truck after the Auburn game, you will be mistaken for an Auburn fan. ;D Especially if you are sleeping with your cousin and have several empty Schlitz beer cans scattered about. Normal
  16. ;D ;D ;D puc with the HOF post. Got a laugh out of me on a day I figured there was no way. Thanks puc. Normal
  17. Did it occur to any of you that some of those guys may have been friends with Keeley Dorsey? Is it possible they might have gotten off to a slow start after hearing news about a fallen athlete? Just a thought. They all spend time in the athletic facility together. I know I was in a daze this afternoon/evening when I heard the news. Normal
  18. According to his mother on the Rivals site. No great loss in my opinion. Yes, he is supposed to be a nice player, but I like HS kids that we can develop better. Normal
  19. I imagine with the Gaturds you need to tell them where the picture books are. ;D 8-) Normal
  20. Wow! We must have lost by at least 100 points on the road to the #10 team in the country. No fundamentals, no talent, no rebounding.... : Normal
  21. Anyone gonna hit the 'room? Or is everyone expecting us to get blown out? I will be there if anybody wants to stop by. Normal
  22. I don't know how good he is, but he played for Thomas County Central in Thomasville, Georgia and they are a big SW Georgia football power. Charlie Ward played at Thomas Co. Central. One comment he made in the article really gives some insight as to how important Matt G. is to USF. Bogans came down and watched the Pitt game and his comment about that game was, "The quarterback completed passes to 10 different receivers. All you have to do is get on the field and you have a chance to see the ball." Or something like that. Anyhow, why wouldn't a receiver want to come and play with Matt at QB? Normal
  23. Yea, the fact that pizza companies won't deliver to the neighborhood the stadium's in ought to really boost attendance. There were more than glitches wrong with that thingt. Normal
  24. At first when you started that sentence, "I wonder if the pilot...." I thought you were gonna write, "...will let me take over the controls for awhile and fly this big bad boy." ;D See ya up there RTB. Normal
